ไมโครซอฟท์ปิดการดาวน์โหลดไฟล์ Windows 10 เวอร์ชัน 1511 โดยตรง

เมื่อกลางเดือนนี้ ไมโครซอฟท์ออก Windows 10 รุ่น 1511 (Build 10586) หรือ November Update ซึ่งเป็นการอัพเดตใหญ่ครั้งแรกของ Windows 10 นับตั้งแต่เปิดตัว

ความสำคัญของอัพเดตนี้คือไมโครซอฟท์ตั้งใจให้มันเป็น Windows 10 เวอร์ชันยืนพื้น แทน Build 10240 หรือตัว RTM โดยผู้ที่ติดตั้ง Windows 10 บนเครื่องใหม่ผ่าน Media Creation Tool หรือสร้างไฟล์ ISO จะได้รุ่น 1511/10586 แทน 10240 ของเดิม

อย่างไรก็ตาม ไมโครซอฟท์กลับเปลี่ยนใจกลับไปใช้ Build 10240 เหมือนเดิม บริษัทบอกเพียงว่ากลับไปใช้ 10240 สำหรับการติดตั้งจาก Media Creation Tool แล้วผู้ใช้ค่อยอัพเดตเป็น 1511 ผ่าน Windows Update อีกทีหนึ่ง

ไม่มีคำอธิบายใดๆ สำหรับนโยบายชวนสับสนแบบนี้ครับ

1511 ผมเจอบั๊กตอนเปิด Explorer กับ Control Panel จาก Taskbar หรือเมนู Windows+x ครับ
พอเปิดแล้ว Explorer.exe จะแครช ต้องเปิดจาก Start Menu แทน

แต่แพทช์ล่าสุดแก้ปัญหานี้แล้ว

คิดว่าน่าจะกลัวเรื่องที่เอา

ดีนะผมสร้างทันก่อนเอาออกพอดี ซื้อเครื่องใหม่มาแล้วทำยังไงก็ลง Windows 7 ผ่าน usb ไม่ได้ เจอข่าวที่แล้วเลย create build 10586 มาลงได้สบายๆ ถ้ามาตอนนี้เจอแบบนี้สงสัยคงเขวี้ยงแผ่นแท้ทิ้งแล้วโหลด Ubuntu มาใช้แทน

ผมอัพเดทจาก 10240 มา 10586 โดยใช้ ISO ที่หลุดออกมา จากนั้นก็ลองโหลด Media Creation Tool มาใช้ดู ปรากฎว่า ยอมให้อัพเกรดทับเวอชั่นเดิมคือ 10586 ได้

ผมเพิ่งจะดาวน์โหลด Windows ผ่าน Media Creation Tool มาเมื่อวานตอนเย็น ไม่รู้ทัน Build 1511/10586 มั้ย

ดีนะผมทำ USB ไว้ก่อนที่จะเปลี่ยน เหอะๆ ขึ้เกียจมาลง update แล้ว restart บ่อยๆ

ตอนนี้ Origin ถามรัวๆ ทุกครั้งที่เปิดเครื่องว่าขออนุญาตติดตั้ง แถม Catalyst Control Center ลงใหม่กี่รอบก็โดนหามออกไปทุกรอบ ดี๊ดี

อันนั้นบั๊กครับ ผมเพิ่งแก้ไปสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว (ทนมานาน) ปิดโปรแกรม ไปลบไฟล์ "C:\ProgramData\Origin\local.xml" ออกแล้วเปิดโปรแกรมใหม่ดูครับ ของผมทำแล้วหายครับ
