มีข่าวมาก่อนหน้าว่ากูเกิลกำลังร่วมมือกับ Lava ผู้ผลิตสัญชาติอินเดียเพื่อทำสมาร์ทโฟน Android One รุ่นใหม่ที่อัพสเปคขึ้นมาจาก Android One ของปีก่อนพอสมควร วันนี้ Lava เปิดตัวสมาร์ทโฟนรุ่นนี้อย่างเป็นทางการแล้วในชื่อรุ่น Lava Pixel V1

Lava Pixel V1 แม้จะยังราคาถูก แต่ก็อัพสเปคขึ้นมาจากรุ่นก่อนหน้าอย่างมาก รวมถึงใช้วัสดุดูดีขึ้นด้วยโลหะทั้งด้านข้าง และฝาหลังแล้ว สเปคคร่าวๆ มีดังนี้

  • หน้าจอขนาด 5.5" ความละเอียด 720p
  • ใช้ชิป MediaTek MT6582 ควอดคอร์ความถี่ 1.3GHz
  • รัน Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • กล้องหลัง 13 เมกะพิกเซล (ใช้ซอฟต์แวร์อัพสเกลจาก 8 เมกะพิกเซล) และกล้องหน้า 8 เมกะพิกเซล (ใช้ซอฟต์แวร์อัพสเกลจาก 5 เมกะพิกเซล)
  • หน่วยความจำภายใน 32GB เพิ่ม microSD ได้อีก 32GB, แรม 2GB
  • รองรับสองซิม 3G
  • แบตเตอรี่จุ 2650 mAh

สำหรับค่าตัวของ Lava Pixel V1 จะแพงกว่า Android One รุ่นก่อนๆ พอสมควร เปิดตัวมาที่ 11,349 รูปี (ประมาณ 6,200 บาท) เริ่มขายแล้วทั้งร้านออฟไลน์ และออนไลน์ พร้อมกันนี้ยังเปิดตัวโฆษณาใหม่เพื่อรับน้องด้วย
