ไมโครซอฟท์ตอบคำถามเรื่องชื่อ Windows 7

Windows 7

จากข่าว และแล้วชื่อจริงของ Windows 7 คือ Windows 7 ประเด็นเรื่องชื่อ Windows 7 เป็นที่สงสัยกันมาก จนทีมงานของไมโครซอฟท์ต้องออกมาตอบคำถามผ่านบล็อก Windows Vista Team Blog ว่าเลข 7 มาจากไหน ซึ่งไล่เลขเวอร์ชัน (ของระบบ อิงตามใน System) ได้ดังนี้

Windows 1.0-3.0 ไม่มีอะไรซับซ้อน ตรงไปตรงมา
Windows NT - 3.1
Windows 95 - 4.0
Windows 98 - 4.0.1998
Windows 98 SE - 4.10.2222
Windows ME - 4.90.3000
Windows 2000 - 5.0
Windows XP - 5.1
Windows Vista - 6.0

ไมโครซอฟท์ให้เหตุผลที่ใช้ XP เป็น 5.1 ถึงแม้ว่าจะเป็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่ว่า การอัพเดตเลขเวอร์ชันจะมีผลต่อความเข้ากันได้ของโปรแกรม ดังนั้น Windows 7 ถึงแม้จะเป็นวินโดวส์รุ่นที่เจ็ด แต่จะใช้เลขเวอร์ชันของระบบเป็น 6.1 แทน

?

หรือต่อจาก 6.0 ก็ควรจะเป็น 7 (ทั้ง ๆ ที่เวอร์ชั่นระบบเป็น 6.1)

เค้าก็นับตามตัวเลขเวอร์ชั่นของเคอเนลมั้งท่าน ถ้านับตามจำนวนครั้งที่ออก ป่านนี้ไฟร์ฟอกเวอร์ชั่นเท่าไหร่เข้าไปแล้ว

ยังไม่เข็ด จะเข็นแต่ละที ก่อนตั้งชื่อ ไปแก้ปัญหาที่ยูสเซอร์เค้าบ่นก่อนดีกว่าอ้ะ (ตกลงตอนนี้ Vista SP1 ย้ายไฟล์อืดจนรู้สึกได้เหมือนเดิมไหมฮะ?)

เหมือนเรื่องย้ายไฟล์นี่ รู้สึกดีขึ้นหลังจากอัพเป็น SP1 แล้วนะครับ (อันนี้ความรู้สึกเพียวๆ เลย)

แต่ตัวเดิมๆ ที่ติดมากะเครื่องก่อนอัพเดตนี่ย้ายไฟล์อืดเห็นๆ

ดูๆ เหมือนจะใช้ Kernel เดียวกับ Window 2008 Server อ่ะครับ ที่จริงน่าจะรหัส 6.1 มากกว่าเป็น 7 ไปเลยนะ

ว่าแต่ * Windows NT - 3.1 มันใช่แบบนี้เหรอครับ window NT มันก็มีต่างหากหนิหน่า

มันมี Windows NT 3.5 ที่หน้าตาเหมือน Windows 3.11 กับ Windows NT 4.0 ที่หน้าตาคล้ายๆ Windows 95/98 น่ะครับ
จำไม่ได้แล้วว่ารุ่นไหน แต่เหมือนจะกลายเป็นว่า ไมโครซอฟท์ทิ้งสาย 95/98/ME แล้วพัฒนา Windows XP ต่อจากสาย NT แล้วก็เลยทำให้ Blue Screen มันหน้าตาไม่เหมือนเก่า
