Apple จดสิทธิบัตรปากกาสไตลัสแบบ Optical และแบบ Haptic

แม้ว่า Apple แทบจะไม่มีสินค้าที่มีปากกาสไตลัสเป็นองค์ประกอบก็ตาม แต่ล่าสุด Apple ได้ยื่นจดสิทธิบัตรกับ USPTO ของสหรัฐอเมริกาเรื่องสิทธิบัตรการใช้ปากกาสไตลัสกับอุปกรณ์ต่าง ๆ แบบ optical เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว ซึ่งรูปแบบของมันจะมีกล้องตัวเล็กมากจนสายตาผู้คนทั่วไปมองไม่เห็นอยู่ที่ปลายปากกาสไตลัสนี้ นอกจากนี้ยังสามารใช้งานร่วมกันกับเซนเซอร์ต่าง ๆ เช่นไจโรสโคป, accelerometer และเซนเซอร์วัดความดันเพื่อให้การสัมผัสแม่นยำขึ้น

อีกหนึ่งรูปแบบที่ Apple ได้ยื่นจดสิทธิบัตรนั่นก็คือ แบบสัมผัส (haptic) ซึ่งจะทำให้ผู้ใช้ปากกาสไตลัสสามารถรับรู้สัมผัสต่าง ๆ ได้ ซึ่งคล้ายกับหนึ่งในคอนเซปต์ที่ Apple เคยเสนอไปแล้ว (MacRumors)

ซึ่งนี่ก็อาจจะเป็นไปได้ว่า iPhone รุ่นหน้าอาจจะใช้ปากกาแบบนี้ก็ได้ ต้องรอดูอีกทีว่ามันจะออกในรูปแบบไหนกันแน่

จดหลังสินค้าอื่น ไม่น่าโดนครับ และสิทธบัตรจะไช้ไม่ใด้ด้วย

เรื่องสำคัญคือเนื้อหาเรื่องการทำงานของฟังชั้น ครับ ให้ผลลัพธ์เหมือนกันแต่ทำงานไม่เหมือนกัน ก็ไม่โดน เช่น ps move - Wii remote

ขอสรุปมั่วๆเลยว่ามันมีกล้องที่ปลายปากกา เวลาเขียนมันจะเก็บภาพ เพื่อมาทำอะไรก็แล้วแต่

กล้องอาจจะเห็น marker ในจอแบบที่คนมองไม่เห็น เพื่อทำอะไรก็แล้วแต่

เหมือนเป็นการสื่อสาร 2 ทาง ต่อไปเวลา calibrate หน้าจอกับปากกา ก็ให้ปากกามันหาจุดในจอไป match กับจอเองเลย

An optical stylus and host computing system is provided, as are methods related to the operation thereof. In particular, in an example embodiment, a method of operating the optical stylus is provided that includes determining when the optical stylus is in contact with a surface based on signals received by a processor from a pressure sensor of the optical stylus and capturing an image while the optical stylus is in contact with the surface using a camera of the optical stylus. The captured image is then transmitted to a host system.
