iPad รุ่นใหม่อาจใช้ชื่อว่า iPad HD ?

แน่นอนแล้วว่า iPad รุ่นใหม่กำลังจะเปิดตัวในวันที่ 7 มีนาคมนี้ แต่ที่ยังไม่แน่นอนคือชื่อของ iPad รุ่นใหม่นี้จะใช้ชื่อว่าอะไร จะเป็น iPad 3 จริงหรือไม่ หรือจะแค่ iPad 2S

ล่าสุดมีเบาะแสเรื่องชื่อเพิ่มเติมแล้ว โดย Gizmodo อ้างอิงข้อมูลจากผู้ผลิตอุปกรณ์เสริมอย่าง Griffin และ Belkin ที่ตั้งชื่ออุปกรณ์เสริมตัวใหม่ว่า "Griffin for iPad HD" ในรายละเอียดยังระบุว่าเป็นเคสสำหรับ iPad HD (3) เอาไว้อีกด้วย

เบาะแสที่สองคือมีหลายคนยืนยันว่าอุปกรณ์ชื่อ iPad HD เริ่มปรากฏบนสถิติของ Google Analyics ตั้งแต่เดือนเมษายน 2011 เป็นต้นมา ซึ่งในส่วนนี้ยังเชื่อได้ยากเพราะว่าปลอมได้ง่าย

เบาะแสที่สามคือมีข้อมูลอุปกรณ์จากแอพชื่อว่า Tapatalk ที่เผยข้อมูลผู้ใช้แต่ละวันในรอบเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ผลคือมีอุปกรณ์ที่ชื่อว่า iPad HD ติดมาด้วย

อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังไม่มีการยืนยันจากแอปเปิล ก็ยังไม่แน่จะเป็นชื่อนี้จริงหรือไม่ คงต้องรอลุ้นกันในงานเองนะครับ

ข่าวเกี่ยวกับแอปเปิล ถ้ามาจาก Gizmodo คงต้องพิจารณาเยอะ ๆ เพราะสองบริษัทนี้มันมีกรณีพิพาทกันมาก่อน และพักหลัง ๆ Gizmodo มักจะวิจารณ์ผลิตภัณฑ์ของแอปเปิลในทางลบเยอะ

ผมว่าไม่น่าใช้ชื่อ iPad HD เพราะแน่นอนว่ารุ่นต่อไปก็ต้องใช้หน้าจอเดิม แล้วรุ่นนั้นจะใช้ชื่อว่าอะไร?

iPad > iPad 2 > iPad HD > iPad 4 ??? ไม่เข้ากันนะ

อย่างไอโฟนเป็น iPhone > iPhone 3G > iPhone 3GS > iPhone 4 > iPhone 4S
