[ข่าวลือ] ไมโครซอฟท์พัฒนา Windows 8 ถึงรุ่น Milestone 2 แล้ว

นโยบายช่วงหลังของไมโครซอฟท์คือไม่ออกมาให้ข่าวผลิตภัณฑ์ก่อนจะพร้อมจริงๆ (เข็ดมาจาก Vista) ทำให้เรารู้ข่าวของ Windows 8 น้อยมาก ต้องอาศัยข่าวลือข่าวหลุดที่มีน้อยเช่นกัน

ข่าวลือรอบล่าสุดคือตอนนี้ทีม Windows 8 กำลังจะพัฒนารุ่น Milestone 2 หรือ M2 เสร็จแล้ว ตามข่าวที่ออกมาบอกว่าไมโครซอฟท์วางแผนจะออกรุ่น Milestone ทั้งหมด 3 ตัว ก่อนจะเข้าสถานะเบต้าต่อไป สำหรับ Milestone 3 คาดว่าจะใช้เวลาอีกประมาณ 5 เดือน

ตามเอกสารของ Dell ที่หลุดออกมา Windows 8 จะออกประมาณต้นปี 2012 ครับ

ตอนนี้ผมปิดเครื่อง xp ไว้สำหรับกรณีจำเป็นที่ต้องใช้ Windows เท่านั้นครับ โอนไป iMac, Macbook, iPad, iPhone หมดแล้ว สงสัยจะเป็นสาวกไปซะแล้ว

ผมไม่ค่อยเชื่อเท่าไรว่าต้องใช้เวลาถึง 5 เดือนสำหรับ M3 ซึ่งแปลว่ากว่าจะมี Public Beta ออกมาให้ทดลองใช้ก็ราวๆ เดือน 9-10 แล้วบอกว่าจะออกต้นปี ทำให้เวลาทดลองใช้ของ end-user น้อยมากๆ ผมละกลัวจริงๆ ว่ามันจะเลอะแบบสมัย Windows Vista อีก

ที่ Windows 7 มันค่อนข้างสมบูรณ์แบบก็เพราะ มีทั้ง Beta, RC version มาให้ end-user ใช้ แถมเป็นเวลาเกือบๆ ปีเลย ถ้านับตั้งแต่ Build ที่ Leak ออกมาด้วยก็ปีกว่าเห็นจะได้ ทำให้มีเวลารายงานบักเยอะมาก

ถ้า Windows 8 ใช้เวลาพัฒนาสั้นแปลนี้แบบว่าเป็นแค่ Windows 7.5 มากกว่ามั้งผมว่า โดย Feature หลักๆ จะมีแค่ รองรับ SoC กับมี AppStore เป็น Built-in มากับ Windows เลย

ณ ขณะนี้ยังนึกไม่ออกว่าอะไรที่ควรมีแล้ว Windows 7 ยังไม่มีบ้าง :S

อยากให้ใช้พื้นที่ให้คุ้ม คือพวก task bar, status bar, title bar, menu bar อยากให้ ยุบๆ รวมๆ กัน แต่ยังคงความสะดวกในการใช้งานเอาไว้ครับ

มันยากแต่ถ้าได้ก็ดีครับ

ใช้ xp มาตลอด สมัย beta พึ่งได้ขยับมาใช้ win 7 เพราะบริษัทเปลี่ยนคอมให้ ระบบของ win 7 พยายามอำนวยความสะดวกให้หลายๆ อย่างแต่ผมยังชอบ xp อยู่มันเรียบง่ายกว่าในหลายๆด้าน แต่ก็พยายามทำความคุ้นเคย

แล้วทำไม Moto ถึงนำไปใช้ด้วยหว่า มันสื่อถึงไรอะครับ ถ้า beta พอเข้าใจ แต่ Milestone นี่งงงจัง

น่าจะสื่อประมาณว่าไปถึงขั้นที่ 1 2 3 แล้ว แต่เอาแบบเท่ๆหน่อย

Milestone ในที่นี้ก็ประมาณเฟส Alpha ครับ คือเค้าจะเน้นเพิ่ม Feature หลักๆ ลงบน Software เพื่อทดสอบว่าทำได้หรือไม่? เหมาะสมหรือเปล่า? ก่อนเช่น M1 อาจทำให้ Windows 7 เดิมรองรับ CPU ARM, SnapDragon, Tegra 2 และอื่นๆ พอหมดเฟส Milestone แล้วจึงเข้าสู่เหมาะ Beta ที่เอามาประยุกต์ใช้สำหรับ end-user อีกที

ช้าก็บ่น เร็วก็บ่น จริงๆ น่าจะฝึกวิชากระตุกต่อมจากค่ายผลไม้สักหน่อย เผื่อจะไม่บ่นว่ามาเร็วไป ^^

ปล. แต่ว่าคนเรามักมีปัญหากับอาการล่มปากอ่าวเสมอๆ ;P

ผมแค่หวังว่า Windows 8 คงดีกว่า Win7 ในหลายๆด้าน ไม่บัคเยอะไม่ดื้อ ไม่กินสเปคเยอะก็พอแล้วครับ เพราะตอนนี้ก็พอใจกับ Win7 มากๆ
