ยุทธศาสตร์ของมวยรอง: ยาฮูเตรียมประกาศความร่วมมือกับโนเกียสัปดาห์หน้า?

ผู้สื่อข่าวสายไอทีในสหรัฐได้รับจดหมายเชิญให้ไปร่วมงานแถลงข่าวของยาฮูในสัปดาห์หน้า ซึ่งแหล่งข่าววงในระบุว่ายาฮูจะประกาศความร่วมมือกับโนเกีย เพื่อผลักดันบริการต่างๆ ของยาฮูบนมือถือของโนเกีย

ความร่วมมือนี้มีรหัสเรียกขานว่า “Project Nike” ตอนนี้ยังไม่มีข้อมูลชัดเจนนัก แต่กระแสข่าวบางแห่งบอกว่าอาจถึงขั้น "มือถือยาฮูที่ผลิตโดยโนเกีย" เลยก็ได้

ตอนนี้ยักษ์ใหญ่ในตลาดต่างมีแพลตฟอร์มมือถือของตัวเอง ที่ผูกกับบริการบนอินเทอร์เน็ตของตัวเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกูเกิล แอปเปิล ไมโครซอฟท์ หรือแม้กระทั่ง RIM (ที่ผูกกับ BES/BIS) การจับมือของผู้ตามในตลาดเว็บอย่างยาฮู และผู้ตามในตลาดสมาร์ทโฟนอย่างโนเกีย อาจเป็นยุทธศาสตร์ที่น่าจับตา? (ผมเริ่มคิดถึงความเป็นไปได้ของมือถือ Facebook)

ถ้าดูเฉพาะในอเมริกาล่ะคงพอลุ้น
บางที .. นี่อาจจะเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของจุดจบของโนเกียแล้วก็ได้ ;(

ถ้าไม่ First ก็ต้อง Best ถ้าไม่ Best ก็ต้อง Difference..

บริการอื่นๆ ของ Yahoo! (ที่ไม่ใช่ search) ยังมีคนใช้เยอะมากน่ะครับ เพียงแต่ในเมืองไทยมันไม่ค่อยฮิตเท่านั้นเอง

ถ้าให้เดา คงร่วมมือกัน พัฒนาตระกูล Internet Service ของ Nokia ทั้งหลาย เช่น Ovi

ผมเองไม่เถียงนะที่ว่า Google Service นั้นเจ๋ง ไม่ว่าจะเ็ป็น mail / map / search etc

แต่อย่างที่ว่า Yahoo เองก็มีฐานผู้ใช้เยอะ และถ้าสามารถพัฒนา Ovi หลายๆตัวมารวมกับ Yahoo ได้

มันก็พอจะสู้กันได้อยู่ แม้จะดูด้อยกว่า แต่คงไม่แพ้หลุดลุ่ย แบบในปัจจุบัน เพราะตอนนี้ Ovi เข้าขั้นห่วย ...

แต่ข้อดีคือ ถ้ามือถือโนเกีย เกือบทั้งหมดทั้ง S40 / S60 จะลงมาใช้งาน Ovi ได้ และมีเครื่องมือช่วย

Migrate จาก google มายัง Ovi (yahoo) ได้ดี โนเกียก็คงจะสามารถรั้งผู้ใช้ไว้กับตัวได้

เพราะ BB ก็ทำให้เห็นแล้วว่า มือถือที่ ไม่ใช่จอสัมผัส / ไม่เน้นมัลติมีเดีย / ไม่เน้น Apps (ยังไม่มีขายเท่าที่รุ้) ก็ยังขายได้ขายดี

เท่าที่เห็น ผมว่ายาฮูก็ยังมีฐานผู้ใช้พอสมควรนะ

อย่างอาจารย์ไฟแนนซ์ผมก็เห็นใช้ยาฮูกัน อาจจะเพราะมี Yahoo! Finance
