HTC จะทำระบบปฏิบัติการของตัวเอง?

เป็นฐานสำคัญในการสร้างฮาร์ดแวร์ให้กับ Windows Mobile และ Android มานาน อาจถึงเวลาที่ HTC จำเป็นต้องมีระบบปฏิบัติการของตัวเองเสียที?

การมีระบบปฏิบัติการของตัวเอง จะช่วยให้ HTC ไม่ต้องพึ่งพิงนักพัฒนาภายนอกมากเกินไป (อาจเจ็บมาจาก Nexus One และ WP7 ที่ไม่อนุญาตให้ปรับแต่งหน้าจอ?) อย่างไรก็ตาม Cheng Hui-ming CFO ของบริษัทให้สัมภาษณ์ว่าจะยังใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการของไมโครซอฟท์และกูเกิลต่อไปเช่นเดิม แต่เขาก็ยอมรับว่าการใช้ระบบปฏิบัติการของคนอื่น ก็มีเงื่อนไขหลายอย่างที่ต้องปฏิบัติตามมากขึ้น

นอกจากนี้มีข่าวลือออกมาว่า HTC ก็สนใจซื้อกิจการ Palm เช่นกัน ก่อนหน้านี้ไม่นาน ซัมซุงได้ตัดหน้าสร้างระบบปฏิบัติการ bada ของตัวเองไปแล้ว

Nexus One >> Google จ้าง HTC ผลิต "เฉพาะ hardware" แต่ขายในนาม Google ไม่ใช่เหรอครับ
ส่วน software นั่น google ทำเองนี่ ไม่เกี่ยวกับ htc

ที่เป็น htc จริงๆ คงเป็น desire มากกว่า

หมายถึงว่าผู้ผลิตฮาร์ดแวร์โดยกูเกิลกบฎน่ะครับ OS รุ่นล่าสุดเอาไปใส่มือถือตัวเองก่อน มือถือคนอื่นๆ เลยขายยาก

เชียร์ palm เช่นกันครับ เหมาะที่สุดแล้ว

WebOS ปูทางมาดีแล้ว ที่เหลือก็ยัดความเป็นสไตล์ htc เพิ่มเข้าไป ใส่กับเครื่องสวยๆ ทำการตลาดดีๆ โปรโมท SDK เยอะๆ โอโห....เจ้าอื่นๆ มีร้อนๆ หนาวๆ

ถ้า HTC+Plam ดูลงตัวทีเดียวรอดูถ้าซื้อได้จริงหล่ะก็ คงได้เห็นPhoneอีกทางเลือกนึงเลยทีเดียว

ปัญหาของปาล์ม มันไม่ได้มีแค่ฮาร์ดแวร์ กับการกระจายสินค้าเท่านั้นนะครับ อย่าลืมเรื่อง Eco System สำหรับนักพัฒนา และการขายแอปฯให้ทำเงินด้วย สิ่งเหล่านี้ถ้าฝีมือการตลาดและทีมซอฟท์แวร์ไม่เก๋าจริงอย่างซัมซุงที่มี OS เก่าอยู่แล้ว ก็อาจกลายเป็นภาระหนักในภายหลังของบริษัทที่ถนัดฮาร์ดแวร์อย่าง HTC ได้
