จีนประกาศความคืบหน้าย้ายไป IPv6 ทราฟิกอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่ใช้เกิน 72%

กรรมการกิจการไซเบอร์สเปซของจีน (Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission - CAC) รายงานความคืบหน้าในการผลักดันเครือข่ายในประเทศให้ไปใช้งาน IPv6 โดยความคืบหน้าล่าสุดแสดงให้เห็นว่าทราฟิกจำนวนมากถูกย้ายไป IPv6 เรียบร้อยแล้ว

ภาพรวมของจีนมีการใช้งาน IPv6 ทั้งหมด 75.29% เมื่อนับจำนวนไอพี แต่เมื่อดูปริมาณทราฟิกจะเหลือ 31.12% เท่านั้น โดยคิดเป็นอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่ 66% และเครือข่ายอยู่กับที่ 28.32%

หากมองเฉพาะอุปกรณ์เคลื่อนที่จะพบว่าอัตราการใช้งานสูงกว่ามาก โดยปริมาณของแอปยอดนิยม 200 แอปในจีนพบว่าทราฟิกผ่าน IPv6 คิดเป็น 72.87% โดยมี 46 แอปที่ผู้ใช้เชื่อมต่อผ่าน IPv6 เกิน 90%

มันมีสองด้านนะครับ ถ้าทุกเครื่องมี IPv6 แล้วคุยตรงกันได้ เราก็ต้องการตัวกลางกันน้อยลง ทุกวันนี้เราต้องยิงทุกอย่างผ่าน line, slack, หรือ noti service ทั้งหลาย ซึ่งเป็นจุดที่หน่วยงานรัฐเข้าไปดึงข้อมูลได้ทั้งหมด แถมจุดพวกนี้ store data ระยะยาวด้วยซ้ำ การที่เรายิงตรงถึงกันได้ก็ลดโอกาสถูกหน่วยงานรัฐเข้าถึง (ในแง่นี้)

เรื่องคุยกันไม่ต้องมีตัวกลางทุกวันนี้ก็ทำได้ครับ WebRTC
มันต้องมี server ก็จริง แต่ server มันมีหน้าที่แค่ส่ง signal กับ network info ให้กับ peer
พอ peer connect กัน server ก็แทบจะหมดหน้าที่ แค่มันเขียนโปรแกรมยากนิดหน่อย

ผมคิดว่า IPV6 แบบไม่มี NAT มันทำให้หาพิกัดอุปกรณ์ง่ายขึ้น traceroute ไปนี้แทบจะบอกได้เลยว่าอยู่บ้านหลังไหน ทำให้กลายเป็นอุปกรณ์ติดตามตัวไปกลายๆ

การมีตัวกลางยังไงก็ไม่ดีอยู่แล้วไม่ว่าจะสวยหรูแค่ไหน คือมันใช้ความเชื่อใจล้วนๆ และถึงเขาไม่เก็บข้อมูลจริงๆ มันก็ต้องทำงานเป็นตัวกลางอยู่ดี ซึ่งตัวกลางถ้ารับ Load เยอะก็ร่วงได้แล้วการสื่อสารระบบนั้นก็ขาดทันที peer to peer ดีกว่าเยอะและส่วนตัวกว่าเยอะ ถ้าไม่โดนโจมตีแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงตัวบุคคล การเข้ารหัสต้องโหดพอด้วยนะ
