Cyberpunk 2077 ออก Patch 1.1 แก้บั๊กเก่า แต่กลับสร้างบั๊กใหม่ เล่นเกมไปต่อไม่ได้

สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา CD Projekt Red ออกแพตช์ใหญ่ตัวแรก (Patch 1.1) ของเกม Cyberpunk 2077 ให้ตามสัญญา แพตช์ตัวนี้มุ่งแก้ปัญหาเสถียรภาพของเกม แก้ปัญหาเกมแครช ปรับปรุงการจัดการแรมให้ดีขึ้น แต่ก็ยังมีแก้บั๊กที่เกี่ยวกับเกมเพลย์อีกหลายจุดด้วยเช่นกัน

แต่จังหวะขาลงทำอะไรก็ผิดไปหมด ผู้เล่นจำนวนไม่น้อยค้นพบว่า Patch 1.1 กลับสร้างบั๊กใหม่ที่ส่งผลต่อการเล่นเนื้อเรื่องหลัก เพราะตัวละคร Takamura ในเกมจะโทรศัพท์มาหาผู้เล่นเพื่อมอบหมายภารกิจใหม่ให้ แต่กลับไม่พูดอะไร ทำให้เกมไปต่อไม่ได้

ฝ่ายสนับสนุนลูกค้าของ CD Projekt Red ได้ออกวิธีแก้ชั่วคราว (workaround) มาให้ ซึ่งต้องใช้ไฟล์เซฟเก่าด้วย (บางคนอาจเซฟทับไปแล้ว) ส่วนวิธีการแก้แบบถาวรคงต้องรอแพตช์แบบ hotfix กันต่อไป ซึ่งทาง CDPR ยังไม่ประกาศข้อมูลเรื่องนี้

ตามแผนของ CDPR จะมีแพตช์ใหญ่อีกตัว (น่าจะนับเป็น 1.2) ตามมาในเดือนกุมภาพันธ์

อัพเดต บั๊กนี้ถูกแก้ไขแล้วในแพตช์ 1.11

บั๊กเดิมยังอยู่ครบเลย ขี่รถแล้วยืนแก้ผ้า, ทีโพส, NPC หาย, เก็บของบางชิ้นไม่ได้, เล่นไปสักพักเฟรมตก, HUD ค้าง

เลยงงว่ามันไปแก้ตรงไหน

ถ้าจะทำcyberpunk ให้เป็นไปตามที่คุย+คนคาดหวังไว้ จะต้อง..

  1. คุณภาพ Open world ต้องระดับ Red dead redemption 2 หรืออย่างน้อยที่สุดต้องเท่า GTA 5
  2. คุณภาพส่วน RPG และความลุ่มลึกของเนื้อเรื่องและเควสท์ ต้องระดับ Witcher3
  3. กราฟฟิคระดับ Nextgen
  4. แต่เล่นได้ดีในคอนโซล 6 รุ่น+PC โดยรุ่นต่ำสุดคือคอนโซลเสปค 7ปีที่แล้ว และทั้งหมด “ออกพร้อมกันทุกเครื่อง”
  5. ด้วยทีมงานที่น้อยกว่า Rockstar 4 เท่า และประสพการณ์แนว Modern Open world เท่ากับศูนย์ (สมัย Rockstar ทำ GTA V นั้นลงแค่คอนโซล 2 เครื่องก่อน อีกปีนึงถึงลง PC แล้วอีกสองสามปีมั้งถึงมาลงคอนโซลเจนถัดมาอีก2เครื่อง)
  6. ห้ามทำโอที ?

จากสภาพปัจจุบัน นั่งนึกแบบนี้แล้ว อย่าว่าแต่แพทช์ สองสามตัวหลังเกมออกไม่กี่สัปดาห์เลย ให้อีก1ปี ยังไม่น่าเป็นไปได้

จากข้างบนนี้ ผมว่ามันมีความเป็นไปได้สูงมากที่เราอาจะได้เห็นจรวดไปลงจอดบนดาวอังคาร แล้วบินกลับมาได้ ก่อนจะเห็นเกมสักเกมทำได้แบบนี้จริง

จะบอกว่า บางข้อในที่นี้ แม้แต่ Rockstar Games หรือแม้แต่ค่ายใหญ่ๆ ยังทำกันไม่ได้เลย โดยเฉพาะทำงานล่วงเวลา และ Crunch Time ที่ไม่น่าจะหมดไปแน่ๆ

และทำเกมแนวนี้ใช้เวลานานมาก อย่างเร็วก็ 5-6 ปี ถ้าทำแบบแบ่งหลายทีมใหญ่ๆ ตามสาขา Studio ทั่วโลก ช้าสุดก็ 1 ทศวรรษ

เอาแค่ข้อแรกนี่ ผมว่ารื้อมาทำใหม่เลยดีไม่ดีจะใช้เวลาน้อยกว่าแฮะ เหมือน element ในเกมตอนนี้มันไม่ได้เอื้อให้ไปถึงขั้นนั้นได้เลย มันไม่ใช่แค่จะเพิ่ม content นู่นนี่แล้วจะรอดอ่ะ

เดาว่าสุดท้ายเกมมันก็จะเสร็จสมบูรณ์ในแง่ performance แหละ แต่ตัว content คงไม่ได้เพิ่มจากเดิมนัก
