หลัง Epic Games ฟ้องร้องแอปเปิลและ Google ตั้งแต่ช่วงกลางเดือนที่แล้วฐานผูกขาด ล่าสุดแอปเปิลยื่นฟ้อง Epic กลับแล้ว พร้อมเรียกค่าเสียหายจากกรณีที่ไม่สามารถเก็บค่าธรรมเนียม 30% จากธุรกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นจากระบบเก็บเงินของ Fortnite รวมถึงขอให้ศาลสั่งให้ Epic ถอดระบบจ่ายเงินดังกล่าวออกจากตัวเกม

แอปเปิลบอกว่าพฤติกรรมของ Epic ทำร้ายและแทรกแซงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแอปเปิลและลูกค้า ไม่รวมการพรากผลประโยชน์ของแอปเปิล ขณะที่แม้ Epic จะบอกว่าตัวเองเป็นโรบิน ฮู้ด แต่ในความจริงก็เป็นบริษัทมูลค่าหลายหมื่นล้าน ที่ไม่ต้องการจ่ายเงินสักเหรียญ จากมูลค่ามหาศาลที่ตัวเองได้ประโยชน์จาก App Store

ไม่ใช่สุดท้าย ตกลงกันได้ EPIC ยอมถอดการจ่ายเงินออกจากเกมเพื่อเอาเกมคืนมาบน App Store เพราะเสียผลประโยชน์เยอะเกินที่คาดไว้ ชาวบ้านเชียร์ๆก็เอ๋อกันไป
