โปรแกรม media player ครอบจักรวาลอย่าง VLC หรือ VideoLan Client ได้เดินทางมาถึงเวอร์ชัน 1.0.0 แล้ว

ฟีเจอร์ใหม่ในเวอร์ชัน 1.0.0 ได้แก่

  • Live recording
  • Instant pausing and frame-by-frame support
  • Finer speed controls
  • codec ใหม่หลายตัว สำหรับวิดีโอแบบ HD (AES3, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, Blu-ray Linear PCM, Real Video 3.0/4.0, ...)
  • รองรับฟอร์แมตใหม่ (Raw Dirac, M2TS, ...)
  • encoder ใหม่สองตัวคือ Dirac และ MP3 fixed-point
  • Video scaling แบบเต็มหน้าจอ
  • รองรับ RTSP Trickplay
  • เล่นไฟล์ที่ถูก Zip ไว้
  • ปรับปรุงอินเทอร์เฟซ

ฟีเจอร์ทั้งหมดของ VLC ดูได้จากหน้า Features ส่วนหน้าดาวน์โหลดก็อยู่ที่ Download (ผู้ใช้ Ubuntu Jaunty ควรลงผ่าน PPA)

ดู True Vision ผ่าน VLC แจ่มมากๆ

สมัครรายเดือนไว้ แต่ดูคนเดียวไม่ค่อยสะใจ

เลยจับ streaming ลง LAN ด้วย VLC ซะเลย

ดูผ่าน lan อย่างเดียว ใช้ multicast แจ่มดี

ช่องหนึ่งกิน bandwidth 3-5Mbps

PC + DVB-S PCI Card

ผมใช้ PC 1 เครื่อง + DVB-S PCI Card 1 ใบ
ทำ Streaming ได้ประมาณ 10 ช่องภายใต้ Transponder เดียวกัน

ปล. ดูใน LAN จริงๆ ไม่กล้าปล่อยสู่ Intenet เนื่องจาก
1.ไม่มี bandwidth เพราะ 1 ช่อง = 3-5Mbps ถ้ามี 10 Client ก็ 50Mbps แล้ว โครตไม่คุมค่าเน็ต
2.ทำไปทำไม เสี่ยงคุก เสี่ยงตาราง

โอ้ววว ในที่สุดน้อง VLC ก็ออกเวอร์ชั่น 1.0 จนได้
ติดตามมา 4-5 ปีแล้ว เป็น vdo player ที่ครอบจักรวาลจริงๆ

ผมมีปัญหาดู DVD บน 7 ล่ะ

แผ่นคนละ region กับ drive พอเปิดปุ๊บภาพเละ ...

แต่ก็อีกนั่นล่ะ โปรแกรมอื่นมันไม่เล่นให้เลยด้วยซ้ำ - -

ใช้ Beta จาก PPA มานานโขแล้วครับ เพราะตัว 0.9 มันมีบั๊กเด้งหน้าต่างออกมาจาก UI ของโปรแกรม

ก็ไม่ทันรู้ตัวว่ามันเต็มมาหลายวันแล้ว เพิ่งเปิดไปดู About อ๊ะ! ไม่มี Beta แล้วนินา .. อิอิอิ

ข้อเสียที่ผมพบเวลาเลื่อนไปข้างหน้ามันกันตุกไม่ลื่นแบบ KMPlayer
แต่ตัวนี้เปิดได้ไฟล์หลายนามสกุล แล้ว iso ก็ได้ ดีคนละแบบ
