Disney+ ได้ฤกษ์เปิด 12 พ.ย., ราคา 6.99 ดอลลาร์ต่อเดือน ถูกกว่า Netflix เกือบครึ่ง

Bob Iger ซีอีโอของ Disney เผยภาพแรกของ Disney+ บริการสตรีมมิ่งภาพยนตร์ที่จะเปิดบริการช่วงปลายปีนี้ ในงานแถลงข่าวต่อนักลงทุนประจำปี

ข้อมูลอื่นๆ ที่แถลงในงานคือ รองรับหนังความละเอียด 4K และ HDR, หนังทุกเรื่องสามารถดาวน์โหลดเพื่อดูออฟไลน์ได้, มีแอพบนแพลตฟอร์ม Apple TV, Roku, PS4, Nintendo Switch รวมถึงรองรับ Android TV และ Chromecast ด้วย

ฝั่งของคอนเทนต์ที่จะอยู่บน Disney+ มีทั้งหนังของบริษัทเองอย่าง Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, The Lion King และ Frozen 2 รวมถึงหนัง/ซีรีส์ใหม่ๆ ที่เพิ่งประกาศในงานนี้ เช่น

  • Marvel: Falcon & Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Marvel’s What If…? (แอนิเมชัน), Loki (ซีรีส์)
  • Star Wars: The Mandalorian และซีรีส์ที่อิงจากตัวละครใน Rogue One
  • Disney: The Phineas and Ferb Movie (แอนิเมชัน), Lady & the Tramp (live-action), Noelle, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, The Phineas and Ferb Movie
  • Pixar: Forky Asks a Question (Toy Story), ซีรีส์สั้นเรื่องใหม่ และหนังสั้น Lamp Life
  • National Geographic: The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Magic of the Animal Kingdom
  • อื่นๆ: ซีรีส์ The Simpsons ทั้ง 30 ซีซันจะเป็น exclusive บน Disney+

ภาพรวมแล้ว Disney+ จะมีหนังให้ดูทั้งหมด 500 เรื่อง และซีรีส์อีก 7,500 ตอนในปีแรกที่เปิดบริการในสหรัฐ หลังจากนั้น บริษัทจะขยายพื้นที่ให้บริการครบประเทศสำคัญทั่วโลกภายใน 2 ปี

ค่าบริการจะอยู่ที่ 6.99 ดอลลาร์ต่อเดือน หรือ 69 ดอลลาร์ต่อปี (ปัจจุบัน Netflix คิดราคา 12.99 ดอลลาร์ต่อเดือน) เริ่มเปิดบริการวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายนนี้ ผู้บริหารของบริษัทยังเผยว่ามีแผนจะออก "บันเดิล" ร่วมกับบริการ ESPN+ และ Hulu โดยลดราคาให้เป็นพิเศษด้วย

ก็เขามี ESPN+ อยู่ละไง ที่ถ่ายกีฬา ที่ Disney ลองระบบพวกนี้ก็ลองกับ ESPN+ ก่อน แต่คนละอันกับ ESPN/ESPN2/ESPN3/ESPNews/ESPNU/SECN/LHN/ACCN เป็นบริการเสียตังต่างหากเอาไว้ดูพวก MLB/NHL/Soccer/UFC เงี้ย

หนังสตรีมมิ่งเหล่านี้คุณภาพเท่าแผ่นบลูเรไหมครับ หมายถึงการดูแบบโหลดมาออฟไลน์นะครับ เพราะเข้าใจว่าออนไลน์เป็นไปไม่ได้แน่ๆ

ที่ใช้อยู่ค่าบริการ 420 บาท ต่อเดือน ดูออนไลน์ก็ไม่ได้ด้อยไปกว่าบลูเรย์เลยนะครับ ความละเอียดก็ 4K มาเต็ม

มีแต่หนังในค่ายของตัวเอง กับ series original ตัวเอง
แรกๆ netflix คงไม่น่ากระทบมาก เพราะมี original series ของตัวเองเยอะมากๆแล้ว ปูทางมาหลายปี หลาย season และยังมีหลากหลายแนวด้วย
หนังก็ดีลกับค่ายอื่นไว้เยอะ
Disney+ แรกๆมีแต่ star wars marvel คงต้องรอดูไปยาวๆว่าจะผลิตเพิ่มได้ขนาดไหน จะดีลจากค่ายไหนมาลงเพิ่มได้อีก
