นักวิเคราะห์คาด Palm Pre ขายได้แล้ว 1 แสนเครื่อง

นักวิเคราะห์จาก J.P. Morgan คาดตัวเลขยอดขายของ Palm Pre ในรอบ 7 วันแรกหลังเปิดขาย ว่าอยู่ประมาณ 1 แสนเครื่อง

ตัวเลขของ Palm บอกว่าบริษัทขาย Pre ออกไปได้ 50,000 เครื่องใน 2 วันแรก และจากการคาดคะเนตัวเลข ในวันที่เหลือ Palm ก็ขายได้อีกประมาณ 50,000 เครื่องจากร้าน Sprint, Best Buy และ Radio Shack

รูปแบบการขายนั้น ส่วนมากเป็นลูกค้าที่ลงชื่อรอคิวเอาไว้ มีไม่เยอะนักที่ขายให้กับลูกค้าที่เดินเข้าไปซื้อในร้านตรงๆ ปัญหาในตอนนี้คือเครื่องมีไม่พอขาย และตอนนี้ลูกค้าจำนวนมากหันไปมองหา Palm Pre จากร้าน Radio Shack ที่มีเครื่องเหลือเพราะคนไม่ค่อยรู้กันในช่วงแรกว่ามีขาย

ผมว่าอยู่ที่การทำตลาดหลังจากนี้ต่างหาก สงครามโทรศัพท์มือถือ SmartPhone รุ่นใหม่มันเพิ่งเริ่ม

โอเค Apple อาจจะมีดีกว่าตรงที่

มีชุดพัฒนาแล้ว มีนักพัฒนาที่ใช้งาน SDK นี่แล้ว
install base สำหรับฐานนี้จะมีมากกว่า เพราะมีโปรดักส์ในแพลตฟอร์มนี้ออกมาก่อนเยอะเหมือนกัน iPhone 2G, 3G, รวมไปถึง iPod Touch
ไปกับ AT&T ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทที่มีส่วนแบ่งตลาดเป็นอันดับต้นๆในอเมริกา (น่าจะเป็นที่หนึ่ง ส่วน Sprint นี่ที่สามหรือสองนี่แหล่ะ)

แต่สำหรับปาล์ม รอบนี้เป็นศึกวัดใจเลยนะครับ ถ้าปาล์มพรีไม่ติดกระแส ได้ล้มละลายหรือได้ขายบริษัทก็งานนี้แหล่ะครับ

จริงๆ มันควรจะออก SDK มาพร้อมๆ กับเครื่องเลยต่างหาก
มัวชักช้าอยู่แบบนี้ สงสัย Palm อยากเจ๊ง :P
ไอ้การที่ app catalog ยัง เป็น beta แถมไม่ออก SDK นี่ มันเป็นเพราะ Palm เองก็ไม่พร้อมกับการ เป็นผู้จัดจำหน่าย app หรือเปล่า ?

ได้ข่าวว่า ตอนนี้ เริ่ม ทำ Homebrew ของ palm pre กันละ
ไม่รู้อีกหน่อยจะเห็น ปรากฎการณ์แบบ psp กับ palm pre หรือเปล่า
มีคนลงแต่ custom rom กับ homebrew -_-'
