Samsung Galaxy S6 edge สามารถใช้ Samsung Pay ในไทยได้แล้ว

หลังจากที่ Samsung Pay เปิดให้บริการในไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งในตอนนั้น Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge ยังไม่สามารถใช้งาน Samsung Pay ได้ครับ

ล่าสุด เมื่อผมอัพเดต Samsung Galaxy S6 edge ของผมเป็นเวอร์ชันล่าสุดผ่าน OTA ก็สามารถใช้งาน Samsung Pay ได้แล้วครับ

พออัพเดตมาแล้ว โทรศัพท์ก็จะเตือนว่าสามารถใช้งาน Samsung Pay ได้แล้ว โดยดาวน์โหลดแอพลงบนเครื่องและใช้งานได้เลย

จากข้อมูลข่าวของ The Straits Times แจ้งว่า Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 edge จะใช้ Samsung Pay ผ่าน NFC (near-field communication) เท่านั้น ไม่ได้ใช้ผ่าน MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) แบบโทรศัพท์รุ่นที่ใช้ Samsung Pay มาก่อนหน้านี้

  • อ่านแล้วคิดว่าต้องเล่าหน่อยครับว่า S6 มันมีประเด็นอะไรกับ Samsung Pay ถึงควรค่าแก่การพูดถึง

ผมตอบข้อสุดท้ายให้แทนว่า ก่อนหน้านี้ซัมซุงไทยบอกว่าบน S6 จะใช้ Samsung pay ไม่ได้เลยหนะครับ แล้วเหมือนเปลี่ยนใจให้ใช้ได้ แต่ใช้บน NFC แทน เพราะ S6 model ที่ขายในไทยไม่มี MST

S6/S6 Edge จะใช้ได้เฉพาะกับเครื่องรูดที่เป็น NFC นะครับ เหมือนว่าจะใช้กับ MST ไม่ได้
