Sundar Pichai ซีอีโอกูเกิล ส่งอีเมลถึงพนักงาน ประกาศเป้าหมาย 7 ข้อของปี 2024 ครอบคลุมผลิตภัณฑ์หลักๆ ของกูเกิลทั้งเรื่อง AI, คลาวด์, แพลตฟอร์ม, ฮาร์ดแวร์
Pichai เลือก AI เป็นข้อแรก ซึ่งไม่ใช่เรื่องน่าแปลกใจนัก เพราะเขาพูดมาหลายปีแล้วว่าต้องการผลักดันให้กูเกิลเป็น AI-first company ส่วนข้ออื่นๆ ที่น่าสนใจมีเรื่องความเชื่อใจ (trust) ในข้อ 5 และเรื่องความเร็ว ประสิทธิภาพ ต้นทุนขององค์กรในข้อ 7 สะท้อนให้เห็นทิศทางของกูเกิลที่ต้องปลดพนักงานและประหยัดค่าใช้จ่าย
