Stripe สตาร์ทอัพที่ให้บริการโซลูชั่นการชำระเงิน ประกาศเปิดให้บริการในไทยอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยยังชูจุดเด่นเรื่องความง่ายสำหรับธุรกิจในการนำโซลูชั่นไปใช้งานผ่าน API

นอกจากการเป็น Payment Gateway แล้ว Stripe ยังมีฟีเจอร์รองรับสำหรับภาคธุรกิจอย่างเช่นระบบแดชบอร์ดหลังบ้าน, ฟีเจอร์ Billing สำหรับการออกใบเสร็จเรียกเก็บค่าสินค้า, Checkout สำหรับการชำระเงินแบบสำเร็จรูป, Payment links สำหรับการออกลิงก์เพื่อเรียกชำระเงิน,Invoicing สำหรับออกใบแจ้งหนี้เพื่อเรียกเก็บเงินอัตโนมัติ, Radar ตรวจจับและป้องกัน fraud และ Connect ที่เป็นมาร์เก็ตเพลสระบบหรือแอปสำหรับนักพัฒนา

Stripe ในประเทศไทยนอกจากจะรองรับบัตรเครดิตแล้ว ยังรองรับการชำระเงินผ่าน PromptPay ด้วย (จริงๆ มี Apple Pay และ Google Pay ด้วย) โดยค่าธรรมเนียมบัตรเครดิตอยู่ที่ 3.65% ของยอดชำระสำหรับบัตรไทย (บัตรต่างประเทศ 4.75% + 2% กรณีที่มีการแลกเปลี่ยนสกุลเงิน) + 10 บาท ส่วน PromptPay อยู่ที่ 1.65% จากยอดชำระ และหากมีการคืนเงินจะคิดค่าธรรมเนียม 10 บาท

ก่อนหน้านี้ Stripe เริ่มมีการใช้งานในประเทศไทยโดยมีลูกค้าเช่น เช่น Baania แพลตฟอร์มตลาดอสังหาริมทรัพย์ออนไลน์, Chanintr แบรนด์เฟอร์นิเจอร์หรู, Coconut Beach Bungalows โครงการรีสอร์ตพักตากอากาศ, FlowAccount แพลตฟอร์มโปรแกรมบัญชี, และ Storior แพลตฟอร์มสำหรับการออกแบบคาแรกเตอร์

มาเสียที หลังจากมีออฟฟิศอยู่ในไทยตั้งนาน
ค่าธรรมเนียมบัตรเครดิตแพงกว่าที่คิดแฮะ โดยเฉพาะบัตรต่างประเทศ แถมยังรับแค่ Visa/MasterCard อย่าง Stripe ญี่ปุ่นคิดที่ 3.6% เท่ากันหมด แถมสามารถรับ JCB/American Express
แต่ PromptPay (ซึ่งคนส่วนใหญ่น่าจะจ่ายผ่านทางนี้) นี่ค่าธรรมเนียมโอเคเลย

สมมุติว่า ยอดทั้งหมด 20 บาท =
