แม้ Android Auto จะรองรับการเชื่อมต่อไร้สายมาสักระยะแล้ว แต่รถยนต์หลายรุ่นยังเป็น Android Auto รุ่นเก่าที่ต้องต่อ USB เพื่อใช้งาน (รถยนต์บ้านเราน่าจะมีน้อยรุ่น) ทำให้ Motorola ออก Motorola MA1 มาช่วยแก้ปัญหานี้

Motorola MA1 เป็นอแดปเตอร์ USB หน้าตาเหมือน Chromecast เมื่อเชื่อมต่อเข้ากับพอร์ท USB-A บนรถหรือแผงหน้าจอบนคอนโซลรถ (ที่รองรับ Android Auto) จะทำให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถสามารถเชื่อมต่อ Android Auto แบบไร้สายได้ ผ่านบลูทูธและ Wi-Fi 5GHz

น่าสนแฮะ แต่เอาจริง ๆ ก็มีหลายตัวจากจีนที่ทำแบบนี้ได้แล้ว จะสู้ได้ไหมเนี่ย (ส่วนตัวคิดว่ายังพอมีโอกาสเพราะเรื่องแบรนด์)

ฝั่ง Carplay มี Adapter ของจีนอย่าง Carlinkit, ConnectBox

แต่ไม่ใช่ว่าใช้ดีกับ Head Unit ทุกรุ่นนะครับ CMU บางตัวใช้แล้วไม่มีปัญหา
บางตัวใช้แล้ว Adapter Crash บ่อย, CMU บางตัวใช้ได้บ้างไม่ได้บ้าง, บางตัวเชื่อมกับ Adapter ไม่ได้เลยก็มี
ขึ้นอยู่กับผู้ผลิตว่าจะออก Firmware ออกมาแก้ไขหรือไม่ บางทีออก FW แล้วก็มีปัญหาอื่นต่อ

ผมใช้ Adapter แบบนี้มา 2 ปีแล้ว มีทั้งหมด 3 ตัว ทุกวันนี้ตัวที่ดีที่สุด ก็ยังใช้งานได้ไม่สมบูรณ์ 100% (ให้ 80% ละกัน) เพราะ CMU ของผู้ผลิตรถมีความหลากหลาย มี Delay มีการเชื่อมต่อที่ไม่เหมือนกัน บางรุ่นเคยใช้ดี แต่อัพ FW CMU ไปแล้ว Adapter ใช้ไม่ได้ก็มี

เพราะ CMU บางยี่ห้อก็ใช้ดีกับ Adapter บางยี่ห้อครับ
อย่างของผม Mazda MZD ใช้ Podofo (ConnectBox) ได้ผลดีกว่า Carlinkit ที่ใช้แล้ว Crash ทุก 1-2 ชม ครับ (Podofo ใช้ยาวไม่ Crash แต่มีปัญหาการเชื่อมต่อตอนเริ่มต้นบางครั้งครับ)
