ตามที่ไมโครซอฟท์ประกาศว่า Windows 11 จะเริ่มทยอยออกมาให้อัพเดตกันตั้งแต่ 5 ตุลาคมนี้ อย่างไรก็ตามไมโครซอฟท์ก็ได้ระบุว่าคุณสมบัติการใช้งานแอป Android ยังไม่มีออกมาในอัพเดตรอบแรกนี้

Aaron Woodman ผู้จัดการทั่วไปฝ่ายการตลาดของไมโครซอฟท์อธิบายในบล็อกว่า Windows 11 ที่รองรับ Android ผ่านความร่วมมือกับ Intel และ Amazon นั้น จะเพิ่มเติมในเดือนถัด ๆ ไป ของการอัพเดต ซึ่งอาจตีความได้ว่า Windows 11 ที่รองรับแอป Android น่าจะได้เห็นเร็วที่สุดก็ปี 2022

คุณสมบัติการรองรับแอป Android บน Windows 11 เป็นคุณสมบัติเด่นอีกอย่าง โดยไมโครซอฟท์บอกว่าเป็นการใช้เทคโนโลยี Intel Bridge ทำให้ทำงานบนซีพียู x86 ได้ ส่วนตัว Store ของแอปนั้นเป็น Amazon Appstore

Android บน win 11 จะใช้งานได้ทุก app เมือโหลดผ่าน Amazon Appstore หากโหลดผ่าน google หรือ ติดตั้งเป็น apk จะไม่สามารถใช้งานได้ทุก app (อยู่ที่ดวง) ปัจจัย ที่ app นั้น รันบน win 11 ได้ ไม่ได้ อยู่ที่ผู้พัฒนาว่า ทำ app บนโครงสร้างของ ARM หรือ X86 สำหรับ APP ที่รันบน win 11 ได้ จะต้องเป็น App ที่สร้างด้วยโครงสร้าง X86 ซึ่ง Amazon Appstore รวมไว้หมดแล้ว ฉะนั้นหากไปโหลดไฟล์ที่ google มาลง ดวงนะ ไม่ใช่ทุก app จะรันได้
