ต่อเนื่องจากข่าวเก่า AMD อนุมัติการแยกบริษัท Foundry Company เรียบร้อย บริษัทนี้ได้ชื่อแล้วว่า GLOBALFOUNDRIES (ตัวสะกดอย่างเป็นทางการเขียนด้วยตัวใหญ่ทั้งหมดแบบนี้ครับ)

เว็บไซต์ของบริษัทอยู่ที่ newglobalfoundry.com โดยซีอีโอคือ Doug Grosse รองประธานฝ่ายเทคโนโลยีและการผลิตของ AMD ซึ่งย้ายมาตามสายงาน ส่วนประธานบอร์ดไม่ใช่ใครอื่น Hector Ruiz ประธานของ AMD ที่เคยประกาศยอมรับไว้ว่า เราพลาดแล้ว เมื่อปีที่แล้ว

GLOBALFOUNDRIES จะสืบทอดโรงงาน 2 แห่งของ AMD ในเมืองเดรสเดน ประเทศเยอรมนี และเปลี่ยนชื่อเป็น Fab 1 Module 1 ผลิตชิปที่เทคโนโลยีขนาด 45 นาโนเมตร กับ Fab 1 Module 2 ที่กำลังจะเปลี่ยนไปเป็น 32 นาโนเมตร

ผลิต ๆ มาเถอะเพราะไม่อยากให้แต่ intel ครองแชมป์อยู่นั่นแหละ ขอแบบดีๆ
หน่อยนะไม่ใช่มีแต่ปัญหาเรื่องความร้อน ใช้ amd มาสองเครื่องแล้ว (PC) ผิดหวังนิดๆ และก็
atom intel นี่สุดๆ จริงๆ ถ้ามีตัวมาปราบ เจ้านี่ได้คงจะดีไม่น้อย

รุ่นไหนเหรอครับที่ว่าร้อน? กรุณาระบุด้วย เพราะหลังๆ (2-3 ปีที่ผ่านมา) ผมไม่เห็นจะมีใครบ่นเรื่อง AMD ร้อนแล้ว และในหลายๆรุ่น Intel ร้อนกว่าด้วยซ้ำไป (ร้อนกว่าไม่ได้หมายความว่าร้อนมากๆ)

ป.ล.ผมใช้ Intel E6420 เปิดเครื่องขึ้นมาก็ขึ้นไป 67 องศาเซลเซียสแล้ว... แทบไม่ต้องพูดถึง full load เลย 80+

เทคโนโลยีไม่ผิด คนใช้มันในทางที่ผิดนั่นแหละที่ผิด!?!

AMD มีปัญหาความร้อน ทำไม หลังๆ 3-4 gen หลังนี่ไม่เจอคนบ่นเลยนิครับ

AMD เย็นลง Intel แพงขึ้น สวนกันจากสมัย Pentium3 กับ K-6 (ยุคนั้นK-เท่าใหร่หว่า ไม่ใช่ 6 แหงเลย)

Pentium3 กับ K-7 ครับ เจ้านกไฟ ร้อนสุดๆ
50-60 องศานี่เด็กๆ เสียงพัดลมยังกะ ปั้มน้ำ
เดียวนี้ ใช้พี่สมพร พัดลมติดมา ยังเย็นกว่า System อีกแน่ะ
