Canon เปิดตัว Irista บริการฝากรูปออนไลน์ เน้นจับตลาดช่างภาพ, รองรับไฟล์ RAW

Canon Europe เปิดตัวบริการใหม่ Irista บริการโฮสต์ไฟล์รูปภาพบนกลุ่มเมฆ ที่ออกแบบมาจับตลาดช่างภาพและคนรักการถ่ายรูปโดยเฉพาะ

  • เบื้องต้นยังเก็บได้เฉพาะไฟล์รูปภาพ แต่มีแผนสำหรับไฟล์วิดีโอในอนาคต เก็บไฟล์ประเภทอื่นไม่ได้
  • รองรับการอัพโหลดไฟล์ RAW โดยตรง ทั้งจากกล้อง Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung
  • ไม่จำกัดขนาดของไฟล์ภาพ
  • เชื่อมโยงกับเครือข่ายสังคมอย่าง Facebook/Flickr ได้ง่าย ทั้งการ import/export ภาพ และแสดงคอมเมนต์ของภาพเวลาโพสต์ลงเครือข่ายสังคมต่างๆ บน Irista ด้วย

Irista รุ่นฟรีให้พื้นที่ 10GB แต่ถ้าอยากได้พื้นที่เพิ่มเป็น 50GB คิดราคา 4.99 ปอนด์ต่อเดือน และพื้นที่ 100GB คิด 10.99 ปอนด์ต่อเดือน ยังไม่ชัดเจนว่า Canon จะทำตลาดนอกยุโรปหรือไม่ครับ

เท่าที่ผมลองดู ณ เวลาที่เขียนข่าว เว็บไซต์ Irista บอกว่าหยุดให้บริการชั่วคราวเนื่องจากซ่อมบำรุงครับ (ดูภาพหน้าจอได้จากลิงก์ที่มา)

ดีตรงเอา raw ขึ้นแล้ว preview ได้(ใช่มั้ย?) แต่ว่า raw file สมัยนี้โคตรใหญ่ 10 GB ไม่น่าจะพอ เพิ่มเป็น 50-100 GB ก็แพงอีก กลับไปหา dropbox น่าจะดีกว่า
