เมื่อครั้งเปิดตัว Surface 2 และ Surface Pro 2 ไมโครซอฟต์ได้ประกาศรายชื่อประเทศที่จะวางขาย Surface 2 และ Surface Pro 2 ล็อตแรก 22 ประเทศ (ตอนนั้นไม่มีไทย) ตอนนี้ไมโครซอฟต์ได้ประกาศรายชื่อประเทศที่จะวางขายล็อตแรกเพิ่มอีก 7 ประเทศคราวนี้มีไทยด้วย

7 ประเทศที่ว่าได้แก่ ฮ่องกง, เกาหลี, มาเลเซีย, นิวซีแลนด์, สิงคโปร์, ไต้หวัน และประเทศไทย โดยจะเริ่มจำหน่ายวันที่ 1 ตุลาคม พรุ่งนี้เลย!

ไปอ่านต้นข่าวแล้วน่าจะหมายความว่า

ประเทศกลุ่มนี้จะสามารถหาซื้อ Surface ผ่านทาง "commercial channel purchase" (ผ่านทางร้านค้าทั่วไป)โดยมีผลตั้งแต่วันพรุ่งนี้

น่าจะเป็นข่าวเกี่ยวกับเรื่องของการขยายพื้นทีการจัดจำหน่ายมากกว่าที่จะสื่อว่า Surface 2 จะวางขายวันพรุ่งนี้ที่ประเทศไทย

ผมเข้าใจว่า Surface มีจำหน่ายที่ไทยมาซักพักแล้วแต่ที่เพิ่งประกาศอาจจะเพราะรอประกาศพร้อมกับประเทศอื่นๆที่อยู่ในรายชื่อนี้พร้อมกันก็ได้ทำให้เกิดการเข้าใจผิดครับ

อีกอย่างผมคิดว่า 8.1 ตัว Final ยังไม่ออกเลย ดังนั้นหาก Surface 2 ที่มาพร้อม 8.1 จะจำหน่ายตั้งแต่วันพรุ่งนี้ก็คงจะดูแปลกไปหน่อยนะครับ

ถ้าผมเข้าใจผิดก็ขออภัยด้วยและขอโทษที่เรียบเรียงข้อความได้ไม่สวยงามเท่าไหร่ครับ

ผมเข้าใจว่าประเด็นสำคัญของข่าวนี้คือ ช่องทางจัดจำหน่ายแบบซื้อล็อตใหญ่ให้ภาคธุรกิจนะครับ

We have seen exciting demand for Surface in business and over the past three months we have made tremendous headway into establishing the right infrastructure for getting our tablets to more business customers in more places. Starting tomorrow, with the inclusion of seven new markets – Hong Kong Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand – we’re announcing that commercial channel purchases will now be possible in all 29 markets where Surface is sold.

แต่ถ้าตาม blog ข้างต้น Surface ที่ว่าคือ Surface 2 และ Surface Pro 2 นะครับ จะประกาศ Surface ขายตัวแรกทำไม ในเมื่อมันขายไปแล้ว มันไม่สมเหตุสมผลนะครับ และที่ประกาศขายคือผ่าน resellers ซึ่งอาจจะไม่ใช่หน้าร้านปรกติก็ได้ (สั่งก่อนแล้วได้ของพร้อมกันตอนเปิดตัวก็เป็นได้ในลักษณธะ pre-order)
