Windows Phone "Tango" รองรับการสลับไปมาระหว่างแอพที่เปิดค้างไว้ได้สูงสุด 8 แอพ

หลังจากมีคนปล่อยรอมปรุงเอง (custom ROM) ของ Windows Phone 7.5 (Tango) สำหรับ HTC HD2 และ Samsung Omnia 7 ออกมา ก็เริ่มมีคนขุดคุ้ย Windows Phone เวอร์ชันดังกล่าวและนำมาเล่าสู่กันฟังตามเว็บชุมชนต่างๆ แล้ว

ล่าสุดมีการรายงานบนฟอรัมของ XDA-Developers ว่าเวอร์ชัน Tango มาพร้อมกับฟีเจอร์ใหม่ตัวหนึ่งที่ไมโครซอฟท์ไม่เคยกล่าวถึงมาก่อน นั่นคือการสนับสนุนการสลับไปมาระหว่างแอพฯ (fast app swtiching) ได้สูงสุดถึง 8 แอพฯ ด้วยกัน ซึ่งแต่เดิมนั้นเวอร์ชัน Mango จะรองรับการสลับไปมาระหว่างแอพฯ ได้เพียง 5 แอพฯ เท่านั้น

นอกเหนือจากฟีเจอร์ใหม่แล้ว ยังมีการทดสอบว่า Tango จัดการหน่วยความจำได้ดีเพียงใด ผลปรากฎว่าถึงแม้จะเมื่อเปิดแอพฯ ค้างไว้สูงสุดที่ 8 แอพฯ Tango ก็ยังใช้หน่วยความจำยังน้อยกว่า Mango ถึงครึ่งหนึ่งเลยทีเดียว

เคยอ่านเจอเหมือนกัน รู้ด้วยว่าหลุดมาแล้วแต่ผมสงสัยเรื่องภาษาไทยมากกว่าอ่ะ!

แต่จัดการแรมได้เหนือเทพจริง ๆ

ผมว่า จะกี่ App ไม่สำคัญนะ เห็นพวก iOS ที่ Jail แล้วเช็ค Ram ได้ บางทีเปิดแอปจนแรมเกลี้ยงๆ ก็ยังเปิดแอปใหม่ๆ ได้อยู่ดี คง SWAP OUT ออกไปใช่เปล่าหว่า

ลึกๆ ใจผมอยากให้ user สามารถระบุได้ว่าจะให้เครื่องเราจำกัดไว้ได้ที่เปิดสูงสุดกี่ app มากกว่า เพราะบางทีรันค้างไว้เยอะพวก background task เนี่ยกินแบตนรกเลย, อีกอย่าง mango ตอนนี้ยังไม่มีปุ่มปิด app นอกจากกด back รัวๆ จนมันปิดหมด - -

ถ้าออกให้เร็วกว่า Lumia 800 ที่จะขายในบ้านเราก็จะดี เดี๋ยว end user เอาไปใช้บ่นเรื่องภาษาไทยเดี๋ยวพาลจะขายไม่ออก
