ข่าวนี้ต่อเนื่องจาก Disney กำลังพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีการเป็นเจ้าของหนังแบบใหม่ ย้อนกลับไปอ่านกันเองนะครับ

สรุปว่าระบบจัดการสิทธิ์ความเป็นเจ้าของภาพยนตร์ของดิสนีย์ ที่มีชื่อเรียกว่า KeyChest ไม่มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับ DRM ของไฟล์ภาพยนตร์ แต่เป็นระบบฐานข้อมูลการซื้อภาพยนตร์ของลูกค้า ซึ่งอนุญาตให้บริการขายหนังออนไลน์ต่างๆ (เช่น iTunes, Comcast, Netflix, etc.) เข้ามาเรียกข้อมูลได้ ตัวอย่างเช่น ถ้าผมซื้อหนังจาก iTunes ซึ่งต่อกับ KeyChest แล้ว ผมสามารถดูหนังเรื่องเดียวกันบน Comcast ได้โดยไม่ต้องเสียเงินเพิ่ม

เรียบง่ายกว่าที่คิด ที่เหลือขึ้นกับว่าดิสนีย์จะหาพรรคพวกเข้าร่วมวงได้มากน้อยแค่ไหน

ผมว่ามันก็น่าจะมีบ้างนะ เพราะอะไรที่ทำให้ง่ายต่อผู้บริโภคแล้วเป็นเรื่อง pay once, live forever นี่น่าจะดึงดูดลูกค้าจากฝั่งละเมิดลิขสิทธิ์ได้มากโขอยู่

ความจริงคือ KeyChest ไม่ไช่ DRM แต่เป็นระบบที่ suport ให้ DRM ทุกยี่ห้อไช้ user name / password ร่วมกัน

เป็นแนวคิดที่ฉลาดมากเพราะ apple มี ipod / itune อยู่ คราวนี้ ipod / itune ก็จะไช้ drm ของค่ายอื่นๆใด้

ใครไม่มีก็ต้องสมัคร และอาจจะต้องผูกบัญชีผู้ใช้ไว้กับบัตรเครดิต

ซื้อจาก iTunes แอปเปิ้ลได้เงิน...

แล้ว Comcast ที่ถูกเข้ามาเอาหนังเรื่องเดียวกันไปดูนั้นจะได้อะไร? ได้ส่วนแบ่งจาก Apple? หรือไม่ได้อะไรเลย

แบบนั้นจะมีใครยอมร่วมไหมล่ะ หึหึ

จากตัวอย่าง หรือว่าจะเป็น Comcast , Apple จะได้เงิน Disney ที่มาขอเช่าที่วางหนังขาย ? , Apple,Comcast ต่องแบ่งเงินให้ Disney เมื่อขายได้ ? ผมมั่วๆ นะ - -'

หรือ Comcast จะขอส่วนแบ่งจาก iTunes ?
