Ubisoft ยอมรับ วงการเกมเปลี่ยน คนซื้อเกมเต็มน้อยลง หันไปเล่นเกม Live Service มากขึ้น

Ubisoft ยอมรับในรายงานประจำปี (Annual Report) ของปีการเงิน 2025 ว่าสภาพตลาดเกมเปลี่ยนไป และรูปแบบการขายเกมเดี่ยวๆ แบบดั้งเดิมเริ่มประสบความสำเร็จน้อยลง ผู้เล่นหันไปใช้เวลากับเกมแนว liver-service, เกม free-to-play และการเล่นเกมผ่านคลาวด์แทน

พฤติกรรมของผู้เล่นยังลดจำนวนเกมที่เล่นลง เล่นเกมเดิมนานขึ้น ส่งผลให้เกมใหม่ๆ จำนวนมากไม่ประสบความสำเร็จอย่างที่คาดไว้ ถ้าไม่ใช่เกมที่โดดเด่นจริงๆ และ Ubisoft ยังชี้ว่ายอดขายเกมแบบแผ่นลดลง 35% (ตัวเลขในสหราชอาณาจักร) และจะลดลงไปอีกเรื่อยๆ ด้วย

ตัวบริษัท Ubisoft เองกำลังอยู่ระหว่างปรับโครงสร้างใหม่ ตั้งบริษัทลูกชื่อ Vantage Studios รับผิดชอบ 3 แฟรนไชส์หลักของบริษัทคือ Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six และ ดึง Tencent เข้ามาร่วมลงทุน

+1 เลยหลัง ๆ แทบไม่ได้แตะเกม Ubisoft เพราะมันไม่ได้น่าเล่นจริง ๆ แต่ก่อนติด The Crew 1 มาก ๆ ภาคใหม่ ๆ หลัง ๆ ไม่ได้จับรู้สึกไม่ค่อยน่าเล่นเท่าภาค 1

ต่อให้ ubisoft จะเน้นทำเกม live service ก็คงไม่พ้น concord 2 แน่นอน

ตอนนี้มี Logic ที่บอกว่าเล่นเถื่อนค่ายนี้ไม่ผิด ผมอ่านละตบเข่าฉาดนึงบอกว่า "เพิ่งตื่นกันเหรอเนี่ย" มันมีคนเหลืออดจริงๆนะกับค่ายนี้

ถ้าคนใน ubisoft คิดงั้นจริงก็ไม่แปลกใจละที่บริษัทมาถึงจุดนี้ ถ้าทำ Live Service แบบออกไวๆ เก็บกำไรแล้วลาก่อนหลายๆเกม คนเขาก็ไม่เอาอยู่ดี อยากได้แบบ Arc Raiders / Battlefield ละซิ
