The Walt Disney Company มีอายุครบรอบ 100 ปีในปีนี้ (เปิดบริษัท 1923) หนึ่งในกิจกรรมฉลองครบ 100 ปีคือการออกเซ็ตแผ่น Blu-ray รวมภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชัน 100 เรื่องที่บริษัทเคยสร้าง นับตั้งแต่ Snow White and the Seven Dwarves ในปี 1937 จนถึงภาพยนตร์เรื่องล่าสุดคือ Elemental ของ Pixar

ชุดสะสมนี้มีชื่อเรียกว่า Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection ประกอบด้วยแผ่น Blu-ray จำนวน 3 เซ็ต แต่ละเซ็ตมีแผ่น Blu-ray ทั้งหมด 100 แผ่น บวกแผ่นโบนัสอีก 18 แผ่น และยังมี digital code สำหรับดาวน์โหลดหนังทั้ง 100 เรื่องแบบดิจิทัลด้วย รวมกับของแถมอื่นๆ สำหรับนักสะสม เช่น ใบรับรองของแท้, ภาพจากภาพยนตร์เรื่องถัดไป Wish, คริสตัลรูปหัวมิกกี้เมาส์ เป็นต้น

Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection จะขายผ่าน Walmart ในวันที่ 18 กันยายนนี้ ในราคาชุดละ 1,500 ดอลลาร์

เอาจริง ๆ คนซื้อแบบนี้น่าจะไว้เก็บอยู่แล้ว แต่ราคาขนาดนี้ ให้แผ่นมาไม่ครบ เก็บไว้สัก 10 ปี Server ที่ให้ดาวน์โหลดยังอยู่รึเปล่า ใครจะอยากซื้อ อันนี้ งง

แล้วไฟล์ที่ดาวโหลด มี DRM มั้ยอีก ถ้าไม่ติด DRM ก็แล้วไป ถ้าติดก็เหมือนเดิม โหลดมาไว้แล้ว แต่ผ่านไป Server ปิด ดูไม่ได้อีก

คนที่ซื้อ ส่วนใหญ่ก็คงเพื่อสะสมแทบทุกคน แต่ทีนี้สะสม... ก็แผ่นไม่ครบอีก...
หรือหลอกขายไปก่อน ผ่านไปซัก 3 เดือน ออกที่เหลือเป็น Second Edition หรือจะมี Third Edition ด้วย เพื่อให้ครบ 100
แล้วผ่านไปอีกซักปี Ultimate edition แผ่นครบ 100 แผ่นในกล่องเดียว พร้อมคอนเท้นเพิ่มเติมอีกนิดหน่อย😅

DRM-Free =! free to distribute ครับ คือมันแชร์ไม่ได้ครับ ผิดลิขสิทธิ์อยู่ แค่ไม่มี DRM มาคอยกำกับเฉย ๆ ครับ

คือมันแชร์ง่าย แต่ถามว่าผิดมั้ย ยังผิดอยู่นะครับ

แต่ผมก็คิดว่า Disney ก็ไม่น่าจะคิดทำอยู่แหละครับ แต่ถ้าทำผมก็ไม่แปลกใจเท่าไร เพราะเอาจริง ๆ นะ ถ้าจะหาหนังผิดลิขสิทธ์จริง ๆ มันไม่ใช่เรื่องยากเลยครับ ต่อให้มี DRM ก็ไม่ยากเลยครับ

อย่าว่าแต่หนังเลยครับ สมัยนี้ เกมส์เอาลง Stream หลาย ๆ ค่ายยอมเอาแผ่นตัวเองมาใส่ Crack ที่หาได้ตาม internet แล้วเอามาขายใหม่เพราะมันไม่ติด DRM ของตัวเองที่เคยทำไว้ในอดีต ด้วยซ้ำไป ผู้บริหารที่กัดฟันทำ Disney+ นี่ให้รางวัลโนเบลไปเลย ครับ 24 ตัวซ้อน มองตลาดขาดมาก ประทับใจ

ถ้าดูจากคลิปจะเห็นว่าในแต่ละ Volume จะมีหลายหน้า แต่ละหน้ามีช่องใส่แผ่นของตัวเอง
และในใบเซอร์ก็เขียนไว้ว่า 100 films on Blu-ray discs, 18 Blu-ray discs with bonus content

In an email to The Verge, Disney publicity executive Chris Bess said there are 118 discs in all — 100 for each individual film and 18 additional discs with bonus content for Pixar films. Unfortunately, Bess also says these are HD transfers, not 4K Blu-rays. Alas.
