ตกลงกันก่อนนะว่า "ฝ่าไฟแดง" คือ สัญญาณจราจรไฟสีแดงหรือเครื่องหมายจราจรสีแดงที่มีคำว่า “หยุด” ให้ผู้ขับขี่หยุดรถหลังเส้นให้รถหยุด แต่รถไม่หยุด (ไม่ว่าจะชะลอความเร็วหรือไม่ก็ตามนะ) เท่าที่หาได้คือ (Reference จะเป็น .go หรือ .gov จะได้เชื่อถือได้ เพราะเป็นหน่วยงานรัฐ ส่วนของอินเดียคือ nic.in เป็นเว็บศูนย์ข้อมูลแห่งชาติ)

ประเทศญี่ปุ่น Road Traffic Act（Act No. 105 of 1960) Section 7 "Emergency Motor Vehicles and Other Vehicles" Article 39 (2) "An emergency motor vehicle is not required to stop even if stopping is required pursuant to laws and regulations. In such a case, the driver of an emergency motor vehicle must drive at reduced speed, paying attention to other traffic."
