Google Home

Starling Home Hub เป็นอุปกรณ์สมาร์ทโฮมที่ช่วยเชื่อมอุปกรณ์ตระกูล Nest หรืออุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ระบบของ Google Home เข้ากับอุปกรณ์ระบบ HomeKit ของ Apple และควบคุมผ่าน Siri ได้ รวมถึงมี Developer Connect API เชื่อมอุปกรณ์อื่นๆ ได้อีก

ก่อนหน้านี้ Starling Home Hub ยังไม่รองรับการเล่นวิดีโอหรือเพลงผ่าน Apple AirPlay บนอุปกรณ์เช่น Google Nest Speaker หรือ Nest Smart Display แต่ปัจจุบันทำได้แล้วผ่านอัพเดตเวอร์ชั่น 9.0 หลัง Apple เพิ่มความสะดวกให้ผู้ใช้ที่ใช้ทั้งอุปกรณ์ฝั่ง Android/Google และฝั่ง iOS/HomeKit หลัง Apple อัพเดตให้ Apple Music เล่นบนอุปกรณ์ Google Home ได้ และล่าสุดเพิ่งอัพเดตให้แอป Apple TV ดาวน์โหลดได้บนทีวี Android ส่วนใหญ่ เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา

Starling Home Hub ยังไม่มีวางจำหน่ายในประเทศไทย และระบบสมาร์ทโฮมในบ้านเราคงยังต้องใช้หลายแอปเพื่อควบคุมอยู่ แถมยังมีอุปกรณ์อื่น เช่นอุปกรณ์ Xiaomi ที่ต้องใช้แอป Mi Home หรือ Tuya ที่ต้องใช้แอป Smart Llife ควบคุม ที่ยังไม่แน่ชัดว่า API ของ Starling Home Hub จะรองรับหรือเปล่า คงต้องติดตามอัพเดตและรอดูอุปกรณ์หรือแอปควบคุมสมาร์ทโฮมอื่นๆ ต่อไป

ถ้ามีความรู้ทางเทคนิคหน่อย ก็ใช้ home assistant ได้ครับ
ปัจจุบันผมก็ไม่ใช้ app อะไรเลย (นอกจาก philips hue) ในการควบคุมอุปกรณ์ smarthome ทั้งบ้าน
แต่มันจะต้องศึกษาเยอะหน่อยนั่นแหละ ไม่ใช่ solution แบบ plug and play

นั่นล่ะครับ คือสมาร์ทโฮมมันมีมานานแล้ว แต่ถ้าจะรวมเข้าด้วยกันให้คุมง่ายๆ ก็ต้องเป็น power user นิดนึง แต่ถ้าจะให้มี mass adoption คือมันควรกลายเป็นอุปกรณ์ที่ทุกคนใช้ได้สะดวกใน hub เดียวสักวัน (แต่ก็เข้าใจแหละว่า Google, Amazon, Apple ก็อยากให้ "เจ้าเดียว" ที่เหลือนั้น คือของตัวเอง)

มันย้ายพวก Mi Home มาได้ครบหมดมั้ยครับ พวก Zig Bee ทั้งหลายแหล่
อ่านๆดูเหมือนพวก Wi-Fi Device อย่างเครื่องกรองอากาศ สามารถดึงเอา Token ออกมาได้

ของ mi ผมมีเครื่องกรองอากาศที่เป็น wifi ครับ เอา token ออกมาได้ (บน ios ต้อง backup แล้วใช้โปรแกรมอ่าน backup เอา แต่บน android มีโปรแกรมอ่าน token ได้เลย) แต่ลบแอพ ไม่ได้ ลบแล้ว token ใช้ไม่ได้เลย แต่พอได้ token แล้ว ผม block ไม่ให้มันต่อ internet เลย ha มันจะต่อตรงแบบ local
ตัวอื่นๆ ของ mi ผมมีพวก door sensor กับปุ่มกด อันนี้ผมใช้ zigbee2mqtt ครับ (ต้องซื้อ zigbee usb เดี๋ยวนี้หาซื้อง่ายแล้ว ตอนผมทำต้อง flash firmware เอง) อันนี้ผมใช้กับหลอดไฟ ikea ด้วย อันนี้ง่ายตรงไม่ต้องลงอะไรเลย ตัว zigbee2mqtt มัน pair ได้หมด ไม่ต้องใช้ mi app ด้วยซ้ำ
