Nvidia ประกาศว่าแอป Apple TV เปิดให้ดาวน์โหลดบนกล่องสตรีมมิ่ง Nvidia Shield แล้ว แต่ไม่ใช่แค่นั้นเว็บไซต์ 9to5Google พบว่าตอนนี้แอป Apple TV สามารถค้นหาและดาวน์โหลดได้บนทีวีแอนดรอยด์แทบทุกรุ่นในสหรัฐ

ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมที่ 9to5Google สอบถามไปทาง Google ได้ความว่าแอปจะรองรับ Android TV ทุกรุ่นที่รัน Android 8.0 Oreo ขึ้นไป รวมถึงอุปกรณ์ Android Box หรือ Xiaomi TV Stick ที่รัน Android 8.0 ขึ้นไปเช่นกัน

9to5Google ทดสอบค้นหาแอปบน Play Store ของทีวีรุ่น Hisense U8G ในสหรัฐ พบแอป Apple TV และสามารถดาวน์โหลดมาดูได้ปกติ ส่วนผู้เขียนทดสอบกับ Sony X90 E (รหัสรุ่นในไทยคือ X9000E) รุ่นปี 2018 ที่รัน Android 9 ยังค้นหาแอปบน Play Store ไม่พบ อาจต้องรอการทยอยอัพเดตต่อไป

เพิ่งซื้อ Apple TV 4K มา ทุกอย่างดีหมด spotify youtube

ยกเว้น บริการ ของแอปเปิลเอง พวก tv+ music poscast

มีปัญหา loading problem บ่อยมาก tv+ ตอนนี้ ดูได้แค่บางอัน บางอันไม่โหลดเลย

ขณะที่ บริการ ของคนอื่น ปกติดีหมด

เป็นที่ค่ายเน็ตรึเปล่าครับ เคยเจอกับกรณี Apple music ในมือถือ ต้องปิด 4G ต่อไวไฟถึงฟังได้ (เป็นที่เน็ตของค่ายมือถือ)

เห็นใน Reddit ส่วนมากที่ยังไม่ได้จะเป็น Sony ครับ ไม่แน่ใจว่าเพราะ Sony ยังไม่อัพเดตให้หรือเปล่า คิดว่าน่าจะ Sideload เอาได้ แต่ก็ต้องไปเสี่ยงกันเอาเองครับ ส่วนตัวผมคงรอ official

Sony เกี่ยวด้วยหรอครับกรณีนี้ เพราะข่าวนี้ดูเหมือนว่าแอปเปิลปล่อยแอพขึ้น store ปกติ ผู้ผลิตฮาร์ดแวร์น่าจะคุมไม่ได้ด้วยว่า user ห้ามโหลดแอพอะไร

ในทางเทคนิคควบคุมได้ ถ้า Android Library หรือความต้องการทางด้านฮาร์ดแวร์ไม่ตรงกับแอปพลิเคชัน + ไม่มี fallback ก็จะใช้งานแอปนั้นไม่ได้ แต่เอาเข้าจริง ๆ แบบนี้ไม่ได้เรียกควบคุม ควรเรียกข้อจำกัดของฮาร์ดแวร์เองมากกว่า ซึ่ง Sony ก็อาจจะเกิดปัญหากรณีเดียวกัน เพราะตัวเองก็ครองสิทธิบัตรบางอย่างเกี่ยวกับ codec ไว้ด้วย
