เปิดตัวคลาวด์โซลูชั่นระดับองค์กรที่ทำงานบน OpenStack
ประกาศความร่วมมือในการใช้งาน OpenStack กับเน็ตเวิร์ก ฟังก์ชั่น เวอร์ชวลไลเซชั่น (NFV)
กรุงเทพฯ - 23 มกราคม 2558: หัวเว่ยและเรดแฮท (NYSE: RHT) ผู้นำด้านการให้บริการโอเพ่นซอร์สโซลูชั่น ประกาศความร่วมมือในการเปิดให้บริการคลาวด์บน OpenStack จากความร่วมมือกันในครั้งนี้ หัวเว่ยและเรดแฮทมุ่งมั่นให้เกิดการใช้งาน OpenStack กับเน็ตเวิร์ก ฟังก์ชั่น เวอร์ชวลไลเซชั่น (NFV) ตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ให้บริการด้านการสื่อสาร (CSPs) ให้เป็นไปอย่างรวดเร็วขึ้น
จากผลการวิจัยเรื่อง 2014 SDN and NFV Strategies: Global Service Provider Survey ของ Infonetics Research พบว่า 93% ของผู้ให้บริการด้านโทรคมนาคมวางแผนใช้ NFV เป็นแนวทางการทำงานที่ช่วยให้การสร้างและดำเนินงานเกี่ยวกับเครือข่ายโทรคมนาคมมีความทันสมัย ซึ่ง OpenStack มีบทบาทเป็นแพลตฟอร์มทางเลือกให้กับเวิร์กโหลด NFV ดังนั้นหัวเว่ยและเรดแฮทจึงจับมือเป็นพันธมิตรกันในระดับโลก เพื่อร่วมสร้างสรรค์โซลูชั่นคลาวด์ระดับองค์กรบน OpenStack ให้กับผู้ให้บริการด้านการสื่อสารต่างๆ
