CloudFlare เปิดบริการ HTTPS ฟรีแล้ว

CloudFlare ผู้ให้บริการ CDN (Content Delivery Network) รายใหญ่ ได้ประกาศเปิดให้บริการ Universal SSL หรือบริการ HTTPS ฟรีสำหรับลูกค้าทุกรายแล้ว ตรงตามข่าวลือก่อนหน้า โดยจะทยอยเปิดให้ลูกค้าฟรีทุกคน คาดว่าจะเสร็จภายในเช้าวันพรุ่งนี้ตามเวลาประเทศไทย

บริการ Universal SSL มีข้อจำกัดหลายประการเทียบกับบริการ SSL ของ CloudFlare สำหรับลูกค้าเสียเงิน โดย Universal SSL จะรองรับเฉพาะเบราว์เซอร์รุ่นใหม่ ที่รองรับการเข้ารหัสแบบ ECDSA และรองรับมาตรฐานเสริม SNI เท่านั้น ทาง CloudFlare กล่าวว่าปัจจุบัน ทราฟฟิกที่มาจากเบราว์เซอร์รุ่นใหม่มีถึงมากกว่า 80% แล้ว (เบราว์เซอร์เก่าที่สำคัญมี Internet Explorer 6 และแอนดรอยด์ก่อน ICS)

นอกจากนี้ ทาง CloudFlare ยังจะเปิดบริการ SPDY ให้ลูกค้าทุกรายอัตโนมัติอีกด้วย เนื่องจากบริการ SPDY จำเป็นต้องใช้การเชื่อมต่อแบบเข้ารหัส ทำเมื่อก่อนให้ไม่สามารถเปิดใช้ได้

ทั้งนี้ ลูกค้าเสียเงินของ CloudFlare ไม่ได้รับผลกระทบจากข้อจำกัดดังกล่าว

ใครตั้ง Server ในไทยเป็นกันทุกคนครับ เคยมีคนบอกว่าใช้ Server ไทยก็ไม่ต่างอะไรจากอยู่คุก (ทำเองใช้เองครื้นเครงในกะลา)

BW Inter ราคาแพงครับ ISP เลยบีบ บีบแล้วบีบอีก, อีกอย่างนึงคือข้อมูลต้องส่งไปที่สิงคโปร์แล้วต้องส่งกลับมาไทยอีกรอบ มันคุ้มหรือไม่? ผมเองใช้ VPS ที่สิงคโปร์ไม่เห็นมันอ้อมเลย เร็วด้วย

(ที่โฮสต์ ไม่ได้ติดตั้ง SSL ด้วย)
