Firefox 150 แก้ไขช่องโหว่ความปลอดภัยถึง 271 รายการ เพราะการตรวจสอบด้วย Claude Mythos

Mozilla เปิดเผยว่าหลังความร่วมมือกับ Anthropic ในการใช้งาน Claude Mythos เพื่อสแกนหาช่องโหว่ของ Firefox ทำให้อัปเดตล่าสุด Firefox 150 มีการแก้ไขช่องโหว่ความปลอดภัยมากถึง 271 รายการ ซึ่งทั้งหมดถูกตรวจสอบยืนยันแล้ว

Mozilla บอกว่าความสามารถของ Mythos ทำให้ทีมต้องปรับวิธีการทำงาน เพราะเหมือนมีการรายงานช่องโหว่ความปลอดภัยระดับร้ายแรงจำนวนมากพร้อมกัน ที่ผ่านมาแนวทางของ Firefox คือการออกแบบการทำงานเชิงลึก เพื่อทำให้การโจมตีช่องโหว่ทำได้ยากและไม่คุ้มที่จะทำ ซึ่งกระบวนการนี้เมื่อต้องการหาช่องโหว่จริง ๆ ด้วยคนจะซับซ้อนมาก ซึ่ง Mythos มีความสามารถค้นเจอช่องโหว่เหล่านี้

Mozilla บอกว่ากรณีศึกษานี้ทำให้เห็นว่าสิ่งใดที่เคยมีข้อจำกัด สิ่งเหล่านั้นกำลังจะไม่เป็นอีกต่อไป

เขาได้สิทธิ์ไปนานแล้ว และcustom model ของ anthropic ที่ รัฐบาลใช้ ส่วนตัวเชื่อว่าน่าจะเก่งกว่านี้อีก เพราะเข้าถึง data ของรัฐบาลได้

หลังจากโดนแบน ฟ้องศาลจนสั่งปลดแบนได้ ไม่แน่ใจว่าตัวโมเดลนี้ถูกขายไปให้รัฐบาลสหรัฐรึยังครับ เพราะสุดท้ายไม่ได้โดนแบน แถมไม่ต้องเอาตัวกรองในระบบออกด้วย ไม่แน่ใจว่าโมเดลนี้ยังถูกขายให้หน่วยงานรัฐของสหรัฐไหมครับ

Anthropic ไม่ได้โม้จริงด้วย เพราะที่แรกคนคิดว่า PR เก๋ๆ ให้ดูยิ่งใหญ่ แต่พอดีจำกัดให้บางองค์กรได้ลองใช้เท่านั้น
