Beim normalen Arbeiten fällt einem die laut Benchmarks geringere Leistung kaum auf, Anwendungen reagieren schnell und flüssig. Hochauflösende Videowiedergabe in 720p ist mit dem Intel Atom auch möglich, allerdings gelang kein flüssiges Abspielen des 1080p HDTV Filmens, obwohl die CPU Auslastung bei maximal 60% lag. Die insgesamt akzeptable Performance hat das Mainboard vor allem aber dem Chipsatz zu verdanken, welcher in Verbindung mit Core (2) Duo Prozessoren große Verbreitung fand und etwa die grafischen Effekte von Windows Vista oder Linux wie auch DirectX 9 unterstützt. Gegenüber dem SiS Chipsatz vom D201GLY2 ist dies ein großer Vorteil und im Vergleich zu einem VIA C7 Prozessor ist der Intel Atom 230 definitiv schneller.
