Windows 7 ฉบับสมบูรณ์มาแล้ว สำหรับสมาชิก MSDN

ในที่สุด Microsoft ก็ได้ทำการเปิดให้อนุญาตสมาชิกที่มี ID ของ MSDN Subscriptions และ Technet สามารถที่จะทำการดาวโหลดแผ่นติดตั้ง Windows 7 ฉบับสมบูรณ์ (Build 7600) ที่ได้มีการหลุดออกมาผ่านช่องทางอื่นๆ ก่อนหน้านี้ และได้ทำการอนุญาตให้ผู้ใช้สามารถที่จะทำการ Generate Serial Number ของแท้ได้ โดย Serial Number ของเวอร์ชั่น 32bit และ 64bit จะเป็นหมายเลขชุดเดียวกัน โดย 1 Account สามารถที่จะทำการ Generate Serial Number ได้สูงสุดถึง 10 หมายเลข

โดยส่วนตัว ผมมี Account ของ MSDN Subscriptions อยู่แล้ว จึงได้ทำการ Generate Serial Number ออกมาและสามารถนำมา Activate Windows 7 (Build 7600) 64bit ได้เรียบร้อยครับ

ระวังเรื่องการใช้งานด้วยนะครับ จาก MSDN Subscription Software Use Rights

Many MSDN subscribers use a computer for mixed use—both design, development, testing, and demonstration of your programs (the use allowed under the MSDN Subscription license) and some other use. Using the software in any other way, such as for doing email, playing games, or editing a document is another use and is not covered by the MSDN Subscription license. When this happens, the underlying operating system must also be licensed normally by purchasing a regular copy of Windows such as the one that came with a new OEM PC.

สำหรับคนที่ใช้ MSDN Premium จะสามารถใช้โปรแกรมต่อไปนี้ในเชิงธุรกิจได้ (แต่ต้องลงในเครื่องเดียวเท่านั้น)

ซึ่งก็จะเห็นได้ว่าไม่ครอบคลุมถึง OS ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Windows รุ่นใดก็ตาม ดังนั้นถ้าจะใช้ Windows จาก MSDN License ก็คงต้องใช้เฉพาะการ ออกแบบ, พัฒนา, ทดสอบ และแสดง (demonstrate) โปรแกรมที่เราทำขึ้นเท่านั้นครับ

ยังไม่ปรากฎใน MSDNAA ครับ (แห้วไป) แต่ไม่เป็นไร อย่างไรก็ตามแหล่งเดิมๆ มันก็มีให้หาใช้กันอยู่แล้ว

สำหรับสมาชิกที่จ่ายตังเข้าร่วม สมาชิกฟรีไม่ได้ใช้ครับ
อีกอย่างตัวที่นี้มีไว้ใช้ในการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ ไม่ได้เอาไว้ใช้งานทั่วไปครับ

สมาชิก MSDN เค้าเหมาจ่ายเป็นปี ๆ เป็นรอบ ๆ อยู่แล้วอะครับ ส่วนมากก็จะได้ใช้ก่อนพวกเสียเงินซื้อ เพราะเค้าถือว่าเป็นกลุ่มสมาชิกที่ร่วมทดสอบ อะไรประมาณนี้ครับ

สมาชิก Volume License ที่มี Software Assurance ก็ออกแล้วครับ ตั้งแต่ประมาณคืนวันศุกร์ได้

ตอนนี้ก็โหลด Windows 7 Professional กับ Enterprise ทั้ง x86 และ x64 มาเรียบร้อยแล้วครับ

ส่วน MS Partner Certified (Gold Partner เป็นต้น) ประมาณคืนวันที่ 16 สิงหา น่าจะโหลดได้พร้อมคีย์ครับ

ไม่รู้ว่าแต่ละ ISO Version ที่ออกมาใน MSDN, Volume License, MS Partner ใช้คีย์ข้ามกันได้รึเปล่า?
