We’re looking for talented Software Engineers (Full-Stack, Backend) to join our software development team.

Software Engineer (Full-Stack, Backend)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Marketing, UX/UI and Mobile App teams to design, build and extend customer facing products and features
• Participate in full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release
• Closely monitor the performance of all critical parts of our stack and be able to respond to system failures
• Develop quality scalable, tested and reliable applications using industry best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure and security
• Write and maintain documentation for all features

Requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience in any of the following languages: Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Node.js/Angular.js or Python/Django
• Evidence of exposure to architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
• Strong base in object-oriented design, distributed systems and RESTful API design
• Proven track record of delivering production quality applications in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience in relational databases, NoSQL databases, and other types of data stores
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Test-Driven Development
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and operations - CI/CD, DevOps, and etc
• Strong knowledge of security best practices
• Ability to successfully deal with ambiguous or fast changing requirements as in the early stages of product development
• Highly accountable and takes ownership, with collaborative attitude, and a lifelong learner
