Pendata is an international software development and server management company based in Bangkok. We build software products and deliver hosted solutions internally and for clients locally and in international markets.

Our young and creative team is evolving and as we now move into to a new office on Sukhumvit 36 and we are looking for new team members.

We work from home when it is appropiate however we like to collaborate in the office. We have team members working flexible hours to avoid traffic and are always open to suggestions on how to improve our workplace environment.

Positions available

We are currently looking for two people to join us.

• 2-3 years of experience with proven skills in Linux/Unix, Python (Django or possibly some other MVC framework) and AWS Services. 40k-45k/month.
• 1 year of work experience, proven understanding of MVC frameworks and some experience with Linux/Unix. ~35k/month.

Work environment

You will be working with a Swedish CTO and a Thai development lead on a range of different projects all the way from design stage to delivery.

For these DevOps permanent long-term roles we are looking for Thai nationals that like working on a range of different projects and find good solutions to them. We are working in a small, focused, but agile environment based in Bangkok with local and international clients.

We work a standard 40 hour week and offer up to 15 paid annual leave days per year and understand and promote good work life balance.

Our culture is fun and social, working with Scrum and DevOps methodologies, which include daily stand-up meetings, sprints, retrospectives, communication, collaboration, testing and automation.

One of our internal long-term projects is a web site that presents data from multiple incoming sources. Some of the technolgies you would learn are the following:

• AWS technolgies we currently use (excluding obvious underlying techonolgies): Elastic Beanstalk, Aurora, DynamoDB, Elastic Transcoder, * Load Balancers, API Gateway, Lambda
• Testing and Automation: Git, Jenkins, Unit tests, Integration tests
