Reports to: Head of Business development and innovation.

About the job:

The main objective of the data team is to identify opportunities and support business development. The employee is responsible for assisting business decision making processes with well structured and reliable data management system.

Responsibilities:

-Design, implement, test, monitor and maintain data management system
-Extract and unify data from multiple internal and external sources
-Verify and cleanup data (together with Data analyst)
-Visualize data and create ad hoc report (together with Data analyst)
-Ensure system can deliver proper dataset to analyst
-Build new tools to automate routine work and tracking
-Recommend alternatives to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
-Collaborate with analyst, business and developer team on project goals
-Any other task which is data related
-Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Personal skills:

-Passion for data and data analysis
-Proactive and forward leaning
-Self motivated

Qualifications:

-Bachelor degree in Computer science or related fields
-More than 3 years experience in data integration and processing
-Experience with SQL-based / NoSQL technologies
-Experience in Machine Learning and Personalisation is an advantage
-Know Python (or similar), HTML/CSS/Javascript well
-Know your way around big-data and Hadoop-based technologies
-Love of open source solution is preferred
-UNIX, Linux and MS Windows
-Web / application analysis
-Good English skills
