สงคราม java ระหว่าง netbeans กับ eclipse คงจะรบกันอีกพักใหญ่ๆ(แค่ตีกะ .net ก็จะตายแล้ว ยังกัดกันเองอีก)

เวอร์ชันนี้เพิ่มฟีเจอร์เข้ามาใหม่ค่อนข้างมาก ตอนนี้จำพวก shortcut key ไม่ค่อยจะไหวแล้ว startup time ก็ลดลงไปเยอะทีเดียว code completion ก็เพิ่มเติมระบบใหม่เข้ามา ใครยังไม่เคยใช้ ต้องลอง! เสียอย่างเดียวคือเรื่องไอคอนกับ Splash screen ทำไมยิ่งทำยิ่งถอยหลังหว่า
อ่อ ตอนนี้เวบ eclipse นี่ช้าอย่างแรง น่าจะมีใครทำ mirror ในเมืองไทยบ้างนะ

ผมว่าเวอร์ชันนี้ performance ดีขึ้นนะ เพราะเป็นเป้าหมายหลักของ 3.1 เลย แรม 1 GB นี่เหลือเฟือนะ อิอิ (ไม่ค่อยเชียร์เลยเนอะ ฮ่าๆ) หรือถ้าใครเครื่องไม่แรงจริงๆก็โหลดแยก เอาเฉพาะตัว platform กับ JDT ก็ได้ ขนาดไฟล์ที่ต้องโหลดลดลงไปเยอะ ได้เป็นประมาณ eclipse mini อิอิ
จริงๆก็รอลอง NetBeans 4.2 เหมือนกัน เห็นมีคนบอกว่าเร็วมาก
เรื่อง mirror นี่ ตอนนี้ใช้เนททรูแล้วเหมือนเป็น Thainet ไม่ใช่ Internet -_-"

ตอนนี้ใช้ Eclipse 3.1.2 กะ BEA Workshop Studio Pro, ram 1GB ไม่อืดนะครับ ยัง run JBOSS 4.0.3 SP1 ไปพร้อมๆกันด้วย ผมว่า สำหรับ Eclipse 3.1.2 performance ไม่น่าจะเป็นปัญหาอีกต่อไปแล้ว ถ้าไม่ใช่ว่าไป install plugins บางตัวที่มีปัญหา memory leak นะครับ
สำหรับ Eclipse 3.2 กับเจ้า Callisto (หมายถึง eclipse + 10 plugins Projects) ที่จะออกมาพร้อมๆกัน ก็น่าสนใจนะครับ แต่ก่อน ผม มีปัญหาวุ่นวายกับการลง plugin เช่น wtp, ve ที่ require plugins อื่นๆ แถมยังต้องเช็คด้วยว่า version compatible มั้ย ตอนนี้ แค่โหลด eclipse 3.2 (ยัง beta version อยู่ แต่ค่อนข้าง stable แล้ว) แล้วใช้ update manager แค่นี้ ก้อได้ครบหมด สำหรับบางคนที่ไม่อยากได้ eclipse ตัวใหญ่ๆ ก้อ config ได้เลือกเฉพาะ plugins ที่สนใจครับ
