Role and Responsibilities:
- Create the Cloud Formation Templates (scripts) so that AWS resources are deployed through an automated, repeatable process
- Design, establish and maintain secure, scalable, reliable, highly available, flexible and resilient Cloud infrastructure
- Support developers to define and deploy solutions in the Cloud
- Align use of the AWS Cloud to business objectives
- Operate and support the AWS Cloud
- Support developers to troubleshoot Cloud deployments
- Optimise AWS Cloud costs
- Conduct internal AWS Cloud training for developers.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced in building IT infrastructure on AWS Cloud, including strong experience in AWS CloudFormation Templates, AWS Accounts management and core technologies: CloudFront, S3, VPC, RDS, Dynamo, ELB, Security Groups, Kinesis, Glacier, EC2, IAM, AutoScalling, Subnets, VPN, NAT, NAC, etc.
- Experience in AWS systems operations, including monitoring of resource usage, and identity management. Experience in AWS Management Console, Cloud Watch, tagging and Trusted Advisor.
- Experience in PCI-DSS, ISO27001 SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing for Applications, Code and Infrastructure a strong advantage.
- Experience in Docker, Jenkins, Scala/JVM, Microservices, Kafka and Storm desirable.
