Working environment

• You'll be working directly with all the other engineers and the tech co-founder. Hacking together tech solutions that will help to drive growth within the company.

• Our working hours are typically 10am-8pm, but it's pretty flexible. Some of us start early morning (8am), some of us start later and work until midnight.

Backend Developer

We expect you to take ownership of some of our internal projects (we have dozens of git repositories at the moment). That means you should be doing the following:

• Watching trends and best practices in Node.js, GoLang or PHP development
• Reading blogs and compiling ideas how to improve our backend systems
• Getting feedback about the system from our staff and making sure it's implemented
• Able to quickly implement new things requested by business / sales
• Able to work in a team with other Backend developers
• Critically think about the systems as whole, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions

On a more technical note, you need to know how to handle the entire software development life cycle, start to end. So you need to be familiar with, or at least not afraid of :), the following areas:

• Have strong skill in one of these computer language: NodeJS, PHP, GoLang.
• Testing: should, mocha, cucumber, phpunit
• Data: MySQL, Redis, Mongodb, Redshift
• DevOps: Jenkins, Docker
• Platform as a service (Deis, Heroku)
• Version control repositories (preferably git)

DevOps Engineer

We expect you to take ownership of the operations tasks in our DevOps culture. That means you should be

• Maintain our server infrastructure - stability, security, scalability
• Prepare our system for any new projects and requirements
• Participate in analysis and designing infrastructure of new core projects
• Educate developers in technical operations and DevOps skills
• Making sure our heavily used production environment is running 24/7
• Improving existing platform to support growth and changing requirements
• Improving our tooling in deployments and automation
• Maintaining and improving our monitoring

What we’re looking for in you:

• Experience with running Docker in production
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Strong scripting skills (ruby, python, shell)
• Experience with continuous integrations tools such as jenkins
• Solid understanding of SCM such as github
• Have open-minded approach for new technologies
• Be in love with DevOps culture
• Keep a cold head in stressful situations
