Senior System Administrator (Linux)
Job Description :
Install and maintain up-to-date Operational System software, patch levels, firmware, drivers, and related program products
Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the servers, and systems, including adequate follow up on problem resolution tracking.
Report and Respond to critical security events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering related field with two (2 ) or more years of related UNIX/ Linux systems administration experience
Strong knowledge in Unix shell scripting and command line utilities
Experience in managing mission critical OS (Linux) infrastructure for stringent uptime service levels
Good understanding of web related technologies, including architectural concepts
Extra qualifications:
(candidates with one or more of the following qualifications are especially considered)
Strong knowledge in TCP/IP networking
Have experience in running infrastructure in Cloud Services like Amazon AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Have background in Information Security
Ability to read/write software in various programming languages such as C, PHP, Javascript, Python, Ruby, etc.
