This workshop provides an understanding of Big Data Technology and Its ecosystems and how to apply in the enterprise.  This workshop emphasizes on how to write a MapReduce program in Java to analyse a Big Data storing in Hadoop.  The workshop will describe Hadoop technology and how to install it on a local system. It will describe the architecture of Hadoop focusing on HDFS and MapReduce. The workshop will provide a deep study on Java APIs for MapReduce programming with hand-on exercises on a local system. In addition, we will also cover programming techniques using Hive, Pig and Impala.
