What you will do in this position:
You will make things work! You have the big picture in mind and are responsible for making our application work smoothly, stable and secure throughout the entire tech stack.
Your are the right hand of the CEO. Since your work covers the whole tech stack, you will also work closely together with and later on manage the entire software development team. You need to be able to select and set up a software revision control system and repository. You are expected to advice the CEO on topics like software development methods, software development process and be able to conduct code reviews, spec conformance testing and establish and supervise a quality assurance process.
Requirements for this position:
We don't judge you on how you look on paper. A formal degree in computer science or a related field is a plus, but no requirement for this position. You must however have at least five years of experience in the domain of fullstack web development and have proven personal skills which make you a team leader.
Good knowledge of the whole techstack is crucial, with heavy emphasis on Javascript. You must develop algorithms and be able to understand the entire business logic of an enterprise solution in order to fulfill your tasks. Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JQuery on the frontend side are required as well as server administration skills and proficiency in Websockets and AJAX. Also we expect you to be a performance addict.
We pop our spells in Meteor and on the frontend side we additionally use React so if you knew these we would be very happy. If you dont know these get your study hat out you will have to learn them.
