Job Description

Your main responsibility as a backend engineer (node.js) is to create features that are needed in our games for millions of users. You’ll be responsible for building scalable, low-latency, and well-documented APIs, as well as deploying to AWS. The primary technologies that you are will be working on are node.js, MySQL, Redis and Cassandra. We may be changing to other technologies in the future, so you will have an input into what technology the company will be adopting next.

Skills & Requirements
Experience with backend development and worked with Node.js
Previous experience building RESTful JSON API’s
Experience working in rapid iterative software processes (Lean/Agile/Scrum)
Strong knowledge of MongoDB / Elasticsearch
Experience with Docker.js and continuous deployment (Jenkins or similar).
Experience building secure User Authentication APIs (JWT)
You’re driven, focused, and a self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of their work and loves what they do.
