System integrator (JIRA)
Job description:
WebOn is going to update our internal systems that we use in our development process. The role will be responsible for completing requests from management on internal systems that need to be maintained and updated. JIRA will be a central external system for our organization, and setup, changes, integrations and reporting from this and selected third-party add-ons to JIRA will be a core part of this role.
The person filling this role will communicate both with colleagues in Thailand and in Norway to ensure that the acceptance criteria and description of what is going to be created are fulfilled. Being proactive and being able to handle many projects at once will be essential to this role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/master degree in Computer Science or any related fields.
Experience from updating and creating workflows/integrations in JIRA.
Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS is required
Experience with MySQL is required
Programming experience is required
Knowledge of Java and/or Python is recommended
Knowledge of Perl, C/C++ and/or PHP is an advantage
Knowledge of use and maintenance of Linux server software is an advantage
Experience from working with Stash & Confluence is an advantage
Work independently and oversee internal projects from start to completion.
Requirements gathering of user stories of what WebOn wants to accomplish with updating/phasing out/ installing new internal systems.
Strong analytical skills.
Being able to troubleshoot and suggest improvements on internal systems.
Good communication skills written and spoken English is key as communication with colleagues in Norway through Skype/chat/teleconferencing/videoconferencing will be part of the daily job.
22-33 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update integrations of systems that WebOn uses internally, with a focus on JIRA.
- Phase out old internal systems created in WebOn and ensure that existing requirements are met in new solution.
- Communicate project status and risks.
