IT Administrator

Role and Responsibilities The IT Manager/Administrator is in charge of all IT related issues for Asia City Publishing Ltd, Bangkok Office. Duties in the company are hardware and software related. Here is a list of things in point form of my responsibilities in the office.

Hardware related - Troubleshoot and repair computers (PC and MAC) - Upgrade hardware such as hard-drives, memory, peripherals, video, motherboards, and monitors - Organize company’s network infrastructure so that intranet and internet will run smoothly - Do daily maintenance on PC’s and MAC - Decide when to change old hardware (estimated lifetime of hardware is around 5-6 years old) - Printers, Photocopiers, and Scanners maintenance - Office Phone system configurations and maintenance - In charge of all renovations, electrical, computer setup (cables and phones) - Document manuals and procedures for proper office usage of computer hardware

Software related - Install and upgrade software applications - Troubleshoot staff software problems - Work with all Windows, OS9, and OSX platforms - Knowledge in the use of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Visio - Do maintenance on server applications such as anti-virus software (Trend-micro or Norton) and Backup software (CA Backup Arcserve) - Deploy Microsoft Access database and teach users how to use it - A good knowledge in Adobe CS applications for MAC - Font installations for MAC - In charge of gathering quotations for hardware/software related issues, keeping a good relations with computer provider - Understand each users needs and teach them how to proceed each problem in the most efficient manner

Web Developer

The developer must be able to design and maintain a website with an advanced knowledge of CMS, database languages and controllers, servers, flash and HTML. Graphic design skills and English-language proficiency also required.

All candidates should be of Thai nationality with excellent written and spoken Thai and English.
