System Engineer

Responsibilities:-
• Maintain Systems availability, performance, etc.
• Administration of Linux and Windows Servers.
• Work for RDC infrastructure environment.
• Provide recommendations to improve the Systems infrastructure.
• To carry out the scheduled activities like configuration changes, Firmware upgrades, OS
patch, Application Upgrades.
• Work rotational, on-call night and weekend support, if required.
• Work with other support teams on system, networking, software, and hardware planning.
• Perform routine System administration activities.

Qualification:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SLES 11 or later with SuSE HA (mainly) and Windows
server platform based production environment.
• Experience with Virtualization and Cloud computing environment. (ESXi 5.x or later)
• Has applied knowledge in the administration, installation, configuration and trouble
shooting of SLES in large environments.
• Experience in writing Shell scripts is plus.
• Has worked on various H/W such as Cisco UCS/EMC Storage, IBM server/storage, HP
server/storage.
• Has applied skills in SuSE /Veritas Cluster and Microsoft Cluster servers.
• Experience with WSUS and windows server patch deployment concept is plus.
• Experience with Symantec Net backup and data backup/recovery solution.
• Experience in Performance tuning, and planning and executing hardware upgrades.
• Should be able to work in 24x7 environments.
• Ability to quickly assimilate technical and non-technical information.
• Exposure to large-scale production environments is a plus.
• Knowledge/experience with storage systems/SAN is a plus.
• Certification in any of following products will be added advantage Microsoft, Linux, Storage, and VERITAS.
•Other Requirement: Must be Thailand Nationality.
Salary range: 60,000 – 70,000 Baht per month
