ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a software engineer who is an expert in both server-side and front-end development. You will work with the founders and product development team to ship beautiful products that delight millions of users throughout Asia and beyond. We are committed to leveraging technology as a competitive advantage, from customer facing front-end features to backend tools for our team. At Pomelo, each team member is expected to work autonomously, often setting their own objects and key results.

Responsibilities:

● Rapidly deploy and test new customer facing features and user interfaces

● Build internal use tools and automate processes

● Optimize and develop new features for our backend

POSITION: WEB DEVELOPER

● Scale our IT infrastructure to handle fast growing traffic

Requirements:

● 2-4 years of relevant experience in developing web apps

● Ability to communicate in English at a high level

● Exceptional coding skills in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript/Jquery

● Familiarity with IDEs (NetBeans, Eclipse, etc)

● Familiarity with Linux platforms and Shell scripting

● Start-up or ecommerce experience is a plus

● BA/BS in Computer Science
