OneJet Inc. is a Cambridge, Massachusetts (United States) based air transportation services and technology company designing distribution, inventory and revenue management systems. We are looking for highly talented individuals for our Bangkok based IT Services subsidiary (located within walking distance from BTS Phloen Chit) that will develop, enhance and maintain PrimAir internal applications related to Capacity Planning, Fare Management, Revenue Management and Optimization as well as Revenue Accounting.

Senior Application Developer

Responsibilities:

The Senior C# Windows Application Developer will:

• Work closely with project and business analysis teams to design new applications and/or modules
• Provide accurate estimates for proposed new work
• Work with project teams and other developers to develop and maintain solutions to satisfy business requirements
• Maintain awareness of the current application capabilities
• Effectively communicate information and issues to all key technology and business partners
• Maintain good source control and solid documentation of application code, development, testing, standards and deployment processes that support the coding and project management efforts
• Perform unit testing and assist with volume tests as well as third party code reviews as required
• Contribute both as an individual contributor and team collaborator
• Communicate to the project leaders as needed of accomplishments of tasks and/or issues completing a task
• Provide third level support regarding applications or modules developed

Qualifications:

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced knowledge and experience with .Net frameworks 3.5 and 4.0 and IIS 7.0
• Advanced knowledge and experience developing Windows applications using C# .Net
• Solid understanding of object orientated programming (OOP), design patterns and their application (layers) and N-Tier Architecture
• Knowledge of SOA based principles
• Knowledge or experience of .NET Remoting/SOAP/WS-Security
• Experience with web services using WCF and Understanding of WCF concepts - Address, Binding, End Point, Contracts.
• Experience with Service Contracts, Data Serialization, Versioning, Synchronous and Asynchronous Communication, Exception Handling, Concurrency and Security concepts
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 R2 and TSQL (views, triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc.)
• Knowledge of other data access methods such as Entity Framework and Advanced
• knowledge and experience using LINQ
• Knowledge or experience of multithreaded programming (Pool in the .NET Framework)
• Knowledge or experience of Windows Service programming
• Previous Use of SmartAssembly with ClickOnce and MSI - SmartAssembly

Optional Technical Skills

• Understanding of Load Balancing technologies
• Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA), Infragistics and Quartz (Open Source)
• Experience writing data driven unit and volume tests
• Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices
• Knowledge and experience of DTS/SSIS Packages and Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Backup and Recovery
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Database Security
• Experience developing ETL packages/scripts in SQL Server 2008
• Experience with MySabre Scribe scripts
• Knowledge of Service Broker

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• A minimum of four (4) years previous experience in a position involving application development and maintenance
• Preferred experience with Agile, scrum, iterative, or waterfall development and project methodologies
• Ability to work in a high paced, multiple vendor global environment
• Previous Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment
• Airline or Revenue Management experience a plus

Other Requirements:

• The candidate either is a Thai national or currently has a residency/work permit for the Kingdom of Thailand
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound customer relations skills and the ability to work with demanding clients
• Willingness and ability to travel to the United States as and when required
• Willingness and ability to occasionally participate on conference calls with US based staff outside normal hours (early evenings), to provide and record updates to current project plans as and when required
