Job Descriptions:
•Responsible for contributing to the business requirements gathering process with key users and management
•Strong experience in all phases of development cycle of data warehouse projects, proficient with all specific data warehouse notions (ODS, Star schema etc…)
•Capable to analyse the business requirements and translate them to an efficient technical solutions
•Define and maintain meta data
•Able to design and optimize data warehouse schema, architecture, queries and complex stored procedures
•A strong understanding of associated problems around ETL and large data
•Design and implement OLPT, OLAP data services, develop cubes, objects, classes, hierarchies, and provide ad-hoc reports
•Identify, resolve, and proactively work to prevent performance or other production impact
•Able to create prototype of highly complex data solutions
•MS SQL Server analysis services and SAS data management software is a real plus
Qualifications:
•10-15 years in IT industry. 5 years + as Management in Software Development with Excellent organizational, analytical, creative problem solving skills,
•Excellent people management and communication skills
•Enjoy both conceptual as well as practical/ implementation work
•Independent/ self-starter, capable to take own decisions
•Good presentation Well organized with the ability to meet deadlines
•Interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment
•Fluent English required
•Expatriate is preferred
The core technology in use today by the hiring Team is Java so it is desirable that the candidate has a background in such technology to enable effective management, however the suitable candidate is likely to be more focused today on higher level management than technical implementation.
